Golden is really putting on a clinic on how to recruit right now. This class will most likely end up being pretty weak, but the work that Golden has put in shows really how bad Randy Shannon was of a recruiter. Golden is actually going after guys, instead of playing the tired games Shannon loved to play.

Herd on the radio today that Harris has had his grade for a few days now. If true it's not a good sign to hear nothing yet imo...
CB Albert Louis-Jean has uncommitted and will go to Boston College. UM has made a recruitment offer to CB Dallas Crawford, 5’9’’ 180 out of South Fort Myers HS. Currently committed to Michigan.
He's been told by the coaches not to make his grade public. I'd imagine they would rather he wait until after the season to make any announcement. I'd imagine he'd also like to wait and think about it. I never really thought he was staying though. We'll see.
I'm sure it is a little of both. Moreso just to let him think but not hearing makes me think goner. Seeing them lose one committ and instantly go after another might also be a sign. Maybe, maybe not because they still need at least one more Cb with or without Harris.. How is that for spinning it...
Rumor: because of poor balance in some of Shannon’s recruiting classes and little defensive depth, Golden is in rebuilding mode in the short term. Also, Whipple probably won’t be back as OC.
Morris was seen being helped off the field and then on crutchs during practice today, guess we know who the starter is.
Updates. UM now recruiting CB Andrew Johnson, friend of S Gerod Holliman. TE Chase Harper has academic issues and might not be able to attend. P Dalton Botts has committed. Golden is bringing in a big recruitment class due to depth issues and “dead weight” on the roster.
I was talking to a friend of mine, who knows people at the Ridge (Sedrick Irvin, who also tried out for the Dolphins) and I asked him about Holliman. He said there is a good chance to land them now but Johnson is still a little sour on UM thanks to Shannon.
Sun Bowl day is here! 2pm on CBS. Looks like Harris will start, as Morris hurt his ankle in practice. The last game before a new era of Hurricanes football begins.

Winning this game does nothing for the team’s mojo. A bunch of these guys either won’t be on the team or won’t play significant snaps next year.
Thank God for that small miracle. Berry can go, Coop can go, DVD can go. Just f* go away. Total wastes of talent. They might comprise the worst senior class ever, or at least the most disappointing, IMO. The Darnell Jenkins senior class was pretty bad, they didn't have the HYPE these kids did, nor did they ever tease you with maybe having some talent. These dudes, just awful.
