I am not trying to be funny or sarcastic...I am going to be 45yrs old and have watched Football for alot of years. I have seen things this year that really have me puzzled...such as..

    1. Why do we run play-action on 3rd and longs and when we are down by 2 scores with a minute left?
    2. Why do we check down or throw a pass into the flat with no timeouts and little time left on the clock needing a TD to tie or win?
    3. Why have we, as a team, completed more 1 or 2yd passes than I can ever remember?
    4. When did 3rd and 2 and 3rd and 1 become passing downs?
    5. Why are our DBs so bad at catching potential INTs? It goes way past beyond funny at some point?
    6. Why do so many of Chad Hennes' passes get tipped or knocked down at the line? Stare down?..lock ons?
    7. When did kicking 50+ Fgs become a good thing? Always used to be disapointed when we settled for FGs
    8. When did making one play and jumping up and down and celebrating that one play...make up for the last 5 plays where NO PLAY was made?
    9. Why did we have guys slipping and sliding all over our HOME field and the opposing team had none?
    10. How can the same mistakes be made week in and week out and not be corrected? Is it personel? coaching? lack of focus?

I really am not trying to be funny...just find myself asking the same questions each and every week. Am I missing any other questions?

i don't think i can answer all of them but
1.because fans are tired of seeing rb draws on 3rd and long.
2.because henne has been terrible at deep passes so the o.c is trying to put him in postion to succeed
    3.see #2
4.when our o-line fell apart and our rb's refuse to quit running into thier own linemen and not the hole created
    5.lack of focus
6.as henne has stated...it's hard when there's always guys in your face.
7.when the guy kicking the ball has become more consistant at moving the ball than the offense
8.because this time it was only 5 plays between instead of 10.thats something to celebrate if your a phin player.
9.our equipement manager can't figure out how to change cleats.
    10.yes

maybe not be the answers your looking for or even the right answers but as your new hc i promise you i will look into the matters and we will get this corrected.

I'll answer most of these questions with one answer. Offensively, our OC is clueless how to utilize the talent we have to its maximum potential. To put it in a simplier term...Dan Henning plays checkers where football is a game of chess.

These are some of the questions we have all been asking all year and since we dont really know what goes on behind the scenes, we can only guess. Is it HC philosophy or OC being to conservative? Is it a lousy QB or are we right back to my question #1 again.

Against Detroit, I was asking the same thing all game. How can WE have the problem with traction ON OUR HOME FIELD and Detroit does not? Mind blowing.

My question; Why haven't we thrown a fade to Marshall in the red zone?

our coaching staff is the problem. this offense hasnt made any progress all year long. the ONLY thing this offense has improved at is letting our fans down.

i hope to see MAJOR turn over on the offensive side of the ball this off season. including position coaches, and especially the coordinator.

i dont want to see any more BS, like calling a time out when the opposing coach is contemplating throwing a challenge flag.
or running 17 times and throwing 45 against a team that is ranked dead last in run defense and 4th out of 32 in pass defense. if thats not planning to lose then its completely ******ed and both are unacceptable.

It's Henning's reverse logic... it's too predictable... so we throw the fade to Hartline instead.
