Its just a shame....a damn shame. Hard to comprehend some fans can boo individuals before a ball has been kicked. Not good. Crowder saying it hasnt helped either because every season his play has been open to opinion and ridicule. Ive not got a problem with him saying it though if the fan base abuse is as bad as its been percieved. I just cant fathom it. Having empty stadiums, numerous away fans at the game and that losing record at home is a recipe for bad blood and feelings. I dont condone it and wont abide personal insults at our players but im not suprised. Its just a shame....a damn shame..

Lol at Sean Smith being good. That dude is just like Jason Allen minus getting the interceptions.

Why isn't my post showing up?

Do you watch the games? Sean Smith is 50 times the cornerback that Jason Allen ever was.

Sean Smith is trash. Hes always getting abused in coverage and his hands are atrocious. Though I will say that his tackling has gotten better.

And how is he 50 times the CB Allen was? Smith has been getting burnt and gives up his fair share of huge gains, much like J.Allen.

I dont think he does, just comes here to stir the pot when crap gets bad. Anyone who thinks Sean Smith and Jason Allen are similar is just here to stir the pot. Ridiculous.

This is just an idiotic assumption. Clearly you three are biased and will not admit when a player is trash or gives up a handful of big plays. Do you all still worship Henne and believe hes our future?

I totally agree with them about Sean Smith. He is developing into a fine CB in this league. Obviously you have let your need to complain trump your ability to understand what you are seeing. He has gotten much better as the season went on and I'll take Sam Madison's opinion over yours everyday all day when he says that he likes Sean Smith...... he just needs to take hold of the cheese when the opportunity is there. Cheddar meaning turnovers.

Now for a second do you really think you know how to judge a young corner better than a former Pro Bowler who was on the very same team. There is no way in hell. You are just being a complainer...sorry.

totally agree... for that matter Smith may be our best CB right now...

Totally hope you are wrong on your sig.... we don't need another non-explosive player on this offense.

not to intentionally run with this but he has slowed down just a bit the last couple of games, possibly due to that injury he had a few weeks ago and the fact that it's his first full season as an NFL starter.

Just to entertain you all, no, I don't hate everybody on our squad, just the players who are trash or beat up on pregnant woman. It's obvious I don't accept mediocrity or "good enough" and as fellow fans you all should be the same.

yes he has, I think the problem we have on defense is that he is the only one that offenses have to game plan for. He has been getting chipped and double teamed a lot lately.

If you don't like it Crowder, win a game at home against last place sub-.500 teams. Is that too much to expect?

After the last ten years, it's a wonder there are any fans left.

5th longest conference championship drought in the NFL.

    6th longest playoff win drought.

Sorry if our patience has worn a little thin.

Years of frustration that has been taken out on on a first full season starting QB who didn't stand a china man's chance in hell of succeeding. Classy.

It Feels Good To Say This, I Made More Tackles in a 10 Game Season Playing Limited Snaps On the D-Line Then Crowder did This Whole Season And hes a Starting Middle LB.

I don't think insulting players is ok, but booing should be fine. It's a way to show your appreciation (or lack thereof) for something. If you are sensitive to being booed, either put out a good product or don't work in the entertainment industry. Yes, the NFL is, at its core - an entertainment industry. Some occupations require thick skin; "professional athelete" is one of them.

Personally insulting the players is never acceptable. There are those types of fans in every stadium though - calling them out has never been productive.

    Back in Miami
    Agreed.

Unlike others on here who for some reason look intently for anything they can reference to trash their own fan base I was pretty shocked to hear of this from a section of Miami fans. It happens though. Really tacky but it happens

our fans have stood by this team thru the ugliest longest stretch of play that I have ever witnessed.....5 thru 10 years ago there would of been 10,000 less than what there was for that type of game on sunday..

Our fas have been fine, better than the past..

Well to some extent I agree with some points that Crowder makes.
The Dolphin fan base has deteriorated in the past few years. It is now somewhat similiar to the Hollywood type of fan (wants exciting offenses, wins big, sense of entitlement, winning alone is not good enough, wants superstars, no patience, frontrunners).
All of the comments here, and the Miami papers, and other sites are are showing this attitde. Being from California I saw this attitude for many decades among California teams. My first visit to Florida in 2002 was sure different than what I had seen in California fans. The Dolphin fan base in 2002 was a lot more passionate,l intense than California fans were. However I have seen a major slip in yhe last few years.

When you are treated to nothing but sub standard product, there's going to be frustration that
can manifest in a variety of ways. It's just life. Maybe Crowder could change a game or two.
