...I'd like to thank him for 2008 in particular as well as the rest of his service and wish him nothing but luck wherever he goes. Not the greatest Xs and Os guy, but a fiery coach who was respectful of the game and had the respect of his guys. I personally admired his passion and the way he conducted himself as a professional and individual. Thanks and Best of Luck, Tony!
I'll thank Chad Pennington for 2008, but overall I agree. Will have no ill will towards Tony if he is on his way out. No doubts he'll find success in the NFL at some level once again.
I was just about to post something similar... But this and totally this... As fans, we sometimes want blood when things go bad, but Sparano is a class act, and deserves to be treated as such. If he goes, remember guys, someone just lost their job, and source of income, whether you feel that was unwarranted or not, it's still a sad thing to see.
Brother the man made millions, millions in which i might never see in a lifetime. I hardly feel sorry for him for losing his job but I will say the guy was great, media friendly, likable, and most important his team was and still is behind him 100% as they have reported throughout the week. This franchise needs a change, the man that was supposed to be here to back this regime bailed.
Oh christ, the media is on him like wolves. Try and contain your glee at a guy possibly losing his job, you ****ing jackals. This is heartbreaking to watch a guy stripped of his bluster and swagger like this.
Hopefully he lands as a coordinator somewhere (like Mike Nolin did). He won't be unemployed for long.
I really like and respect Tony Sparano. Unfortunately, it hasn't worked out for him this go around. He'll land on his feet somewhere.
Sparano should be kicked in the balls for allowing Dan Henning to call the garbage he did this season. Tony let him get away with and publicly spoke out that DH did a great job. Sparano is a clueless sap who deserves to get his *** canned.I don't feel sorry for the guy in the least.
