Its the beauty of the offseason.. It's all business and Personnell,Theres so much film to watch, the combine, Iam gonna look at these athlete real hard... You know what's exciting? were gonna get a new QB, and probably a new coach..:up, Iam excited to get a new QB, I think were gonna have some nice options and find ourselves in position to select a good one..I believe there are some good QB'S in this draft, good overall qb's that have good fundamentals and mechanics combined wiith some good athleticism as well..We need a player that has the necessary athleticism to keep a play alive, and the proper mechanic's and release to execute an offense from the pocket without some innate flaws at the position. I feel bad if Sparano get's whacked, but I'll be excited for a new coach, a coach that has the mindset combined with intelligent leadership to battle the culture..There are some good options to take over. Stick around this site ya'll, this place is awesome during the offseason..building our team is the best part, we got some good defenders, so we know where we need to go, and, we gotta get it right this offseason. oh and P.s...Fu$# you Bill Parcells... OK i'am good, lets do this..
I'm not really excited. After Wanny was fired I was, only to be disappointed. Then after Saban left I was, only to be disappointed. Then after Cam Cameron got canned I was, only to be disappointed yet again. And unless we somehow get extremely lucky in the draft I won't be excited for a new QB. Carson Palmer? McNabb? No thanks to either. They'd both keep us in the mediocrity we've been stuck in for what feels like forever. This would've been the perfect year to go 1-15, but again, we can't even lose correctly. /Debbie Downer
SELL THE HOUSE SELL THE CAR SELL THE KIDS FIND SOMEONE ELSE FORGET IT I’M NEVER COMING BACK FORGET IT!!! -Apocalypse Now
I'm stoked as the way I see it, we cannot lose, if Sparano stays there will changes on offense, if someone new is hired we have a very young team, the youngest since 1999 or earlier.
excited about what? knowing when our season ends.....not seeing my favorite team until this Sept......excited about having nothing at the QB position still....yeah I am real excited...exciting times I'll tell ya...I would rather be wathcing playoff football... so what pick does Miami have??
Nothing exciting about football season being over. I'm more scared than excited to be honest. Change doesn't always mean you get better.
Not really excited either. I don't think this team is that far away from being great, i just don't see how we can make the moves we need. Upgrading OC is a no brainer, but finding a Franchise QB? Or even one that provides more than Henne? Gonna be tough. Seeing what happens with Ronnie and Ricky should be interesting. Another WR might be nice. Front 7 does need a new guy somewhere. Hopefully Odrick comes back strong. How long do we play Y. Bell? Our oline went from a strength to a weakness real fast. All this and well, we might not have an nfl next season anyway.
douche or no douche?..having an avator of the biggest scam in the NFL for 2 years?....lol..I fu$#ed up man.
New regime means we have to go ninja mind fu$# on ourselves, and clean the slate..we still gotta young defense.
I am angry after the team folded but curious as to what management will do now. I'll be excited if the Fins add McNabb VJACK Gruden
well iam more scared with the roster that we have, over the risk of finding new players and coaches that have a different takes and skillset's... Your not excited about change from what we are?
I think change is just as likely to be negative as it is positive. I'm always excited to improve, but I know that it really isn't that hard to go from average to bad.
Well, keep in mind the ST unit allowed 5 Td's, and the Qb play was monumentally poor, to areas that are easy enough to clean up as long as you identify the need to clean them up. If Sparano is retained, those are easily fixed with proper hires, if Sparano is fired they still are not huge issues as a Vet Qb like a Shaun Hill could get it done.
Heck no, I am not excited. I expected far more from the Dolphins this season than another 7-9 record. I never look forward to the off season. I happen to love football and it wouldn't bother me if the season lasted a long longer than it does already. Getting excited about the draft or free agency is a complete waste of time. Both these are merely a crap shoot. Drafting at position 15 only assures that the Dolphins will not get one of the top tier players in the draft. Besides, the Dolphins will probably trade down in the first round like last year in an effort to pick up a second round pick. This means that the Dolphins will probably end up with players much like Odrick and Misi who were taken in the first and second rounds last year. Misi had a decent year and of course Odrick was hurt the entire season. So no one knows how he will turn out. If the Dolphins had the first pick in the draft and Luck declared for the draft. Then I would be excited. No other QB in this draft excites me and there is absolutely no chance the Dolphins will be able to get Luck. So no. I'm not excited in the least. I continue to be upset and angry with the product the Dolphins put on the field year after year. A number 15 pick in the first round isn't going to solve the many issues this team has now.
Preparing for a playoff game...that is what gets my blood flowing. That is a feeling that we have not had much of. Thats the kind of excitement we need around here.
I'm not excited at all. If a new coaching staff is brought aboard, that usually means waiting even longer for positive results. I'm tired of this team having **** coordinators, QBs, RBs, TEs, etc. Will this franchise ever be successful year after year like NE, Pitts, Indy, etc? I don't think so.
i'm exxcited if we stick with sparano and ireland one more year. i think the offense will be upgraded big time and i think our defense will even improve next year. if we panic and fire sparano then it depends on who we replace him with. jeff fisher and i'm excited. gruden not so much. we'll see
The more I think about it, the more I realize we are stuck in NFL mediocrity HELL. We are not bad enough to garner an awesome pick like Luck and not nearly good enough where we need a piece or two to become really good. OMG, this is awful! We are the NFL version of the Milwaukee Bucks.
That is so not true slow, I get pissed off all the time, but that isn't going to make us better moving forward, or more importantly achieving our goal any sooner, we have to find better players, and we have to make good front office decisions..Iam excited about the challenge to get better..starting at QB. I'll go on record right now...Pennington is coming back, and will compete for the job..Dr andrews made his arm strong, there's somethin different, you can tell by Chads reaction's.. I think he knows the team was divided the moment he went down on the 2nd play...The desire to find out whether he was the sole reason for the success will eat at him...Then, we can draft a young QB with a lower pick, Dalton/Devlin, and go best offensive player {Mark ingram} on the board in the first... Thats one scenario that I can get excited about, the other is we fall in love with one of the top choices and go for him. He really endorsed Sparano today.
lol. i'm thinking about asking redskins fans what their lives have been like since they got daniel snyder. Bread and circus Pads, bread and circus
Jeez Pads...for someone who loves long-shots and "hope" type players you seem awfully pessimistic about a coach that fits the bill.
Structure, that is the difference, it would have been far better if the Parcells structure had been kept in place and the problems dealt with that way than to toss it all in the waste basket and pin everything on a HC who has no track record, that is not "hope" that is a kamikaze move that was not needed per se. People think we went 3-13, we had a decent season with fillable holes, now we have complete unknowns.
