    twice in what 15 years? gratnted they were pretty darn good alot of those years but alot of it has to do with dick lebeau's defense. plus i don't see this fan base giving him that much time to win a superbowl here.8 million dollars to turn us into winners..ok but you have to give half that back if you do nothing here.i don't know if i want to risk losing nolan unless cower brings in lebeau.anyone have any idea of who cower may bring in as o.c and gm?

    Well, you could imagine Cowher coming in and retaining Nolan given his expertise in the 3-4. Nolan is basically a poor-man's LeBeau.

    And if Cowher came and had Ireland replaced with someone who has a matching philosophy at GM position, then it would make perfect sense.

    However, I don't see it happening. I bet Ross keeps Tony on the condition that he fires all of the offensive coaches as well as special teams.

    Head Coaches who get total control do not have a good track record in the NFL. Cowher would be smart to rethink this ego trip.
