Well, there will be no rush DJ, which why all of the hooplah and we saw how many coaches fired today?

    1?

If Nolan is bumped up Crosby would be an instant upgrade for him, that is what I mean by "get him what is needed to win", same goes for Sparano of course but Coordinators such as Crosby do not become available very often.

So based on the reading the board all day, my feeling is that, unless it's Harbaugh, half the fan base is going to be pissed with the decision no matter what is it.

And I do not want Harbaugh..

That is the sort of season it was RR.

I am going to guess that it is Lucy Pinder.

Oh and to get back on topic... I am having a difficult time waiting until tomorrow for any decisions. I have been here, almost, all day hitting F5 hoping for an update... oh well.

Is there anyone who still believes in Tony Sparano and wouldn't be upset if he is kept? I'm still of the opinion that he could get the job done with a new offense which is surely coming.

The "he's never developed a young QB" thing doesn't bother me. I just don't think you can assume that this is some sort of deficiency just because it didn't work out the handful of times he's tried it thus far.

And, if it's really that much of a concern, go out and offer John Ramsdell the OC job. Problem solved!

Haha... Apparently, there for a time, your avatar was also Tim Tebow's girlfriend; according to some rumors that circulated (actually created because of a look alike that was with Tebow in some pictures).

I would be great with Sparano, Ireland, the rest of the team with a new OC.

You might have to go back to Shula/Arnsparger when we had two great minds on both sides. Depressing.

I for one have lost all faith in, and much of the respect I once had for Sparano RR. So yeah...I'd personally be very disappointed if he is retained for 2011. That said, if a new OC and a new offensive philosophy is installed, I would certainly be willing to give Sparano another season to prove himself. But really, what other choice would I have? :dunno:

this is ridiculas todays nfl is a passing first league so with that being said one of the first names that should be talking about is June Jones.....I know I know everyone says no to the run and shoot it didnt work before but that is when the nfl was a run first league...its time for miami to get with the program and become explosive and that is what the run and shoot would do....and actually Jones is not running a full fledge run and shoot he mixes in the run quite a bit this year....just look at his running back (zach line) almost 6 yards a carry...shows me jones has adapted....think he would be a perfect fit in miami.

Is that why 4 out of the 6 AFC teams that made the playoffs are run first play action teams?

It's the classy way not to tell Sparano or Ireland, he is going home to make some calls to potential replacements and in case no one is interested in taking over this mess, they might have a chance to stay..... <my best guess>

    Back in Miami
I'm really leaning towards preferring they let Sparano go IF Ross and crew has someone coaches they have targeted that they get positive vibes back from.
I can't help but think based on this teams performances this year that some of the blame goes back to Sparano.
I'd like to see him let go if we have interest from someone we feel is better.

I'm not on board with simply firing him and rolling the dice however.

If this team made zero changes to staff I don't think I'd watch a game next year let alone go to one.
I coulld live with keeping Sparano as long as Henning and David Lee are out the door.

How can Ross witness a great coach and a future great QB winning an exciting football game in HIS staduim, then turn around and give the keys back to Tony Sparano who masterbates to the thought of kicking 5 FG's in a game?
