    I didn't see any threads open about this game in the college forum. Mods move if you need to.

    Luck= dream.

    Tyrod Taylor= interesting

    Ryan williams..lets check him out..

    Harbaugh=dream

    Grud's on the comentary= entertainment, and may give a slip on his future,

    Just gonna be hangin out postin thoughts, anyone else out there watchin?

    Gotta wait til 2maro to find out who's gonna be our coach...that sucks..

    Looks like ''no life'' has infected college fans..

    I think these BCS games dont hold up to the hype, their really quite meaningless. yayyyy were playing for 3rd place!!

    Orange Bowl

    Very intriguing game tonight. Thought we should start a thread about it.

    Guys of interest to me include Andrew Luck of course (who, incidentally, I totally just realized looks and sounds exactly like the actor that played J.P. in Grandma's Boy, and if Andrew does a robot voice I'm going to pee myself), but also Stanford's redshirt sophomore G Dave DeCastro #52, and Virginia Tech's RB Ryan Williams #34, CB Rashad Carmichael #21, and TE Andre Smith #88.

    Owen Marecic gets a lot of attention for being an ironman LB and FB but...I don't think he's good enough at either to really make it like that in the NFL. Maybe at fullback, but I have my doubts.

    This game is of course intriguing in other ways. Jon Gruden is doing the announcing, and Jim Harbaugh is one of the coaches. While Stephen Ross could (and probably will, unfortunately) stick with Tony Sparano at Head Coach...if he doesn't, one of thsoe two will likely be coaching the Dolphins.

    Incidentally one of the more intriguing aspects for me is to see what Virginia Tech's defense has in store for Luck tonight. One of the other QBs I like a lot in this Draft, T.J. Yates, faced the Hokies defense and they really executed a phenomenal game plan to take away the deep passes that he likes to mix in with his short stuff. They had the back side corner bailing deep down the field for the double team on the deep ball, sometimes from the complete opposite field...and it really caught Yates at unawares, resulted in interceptions. I just wonder if they can cook up something like that for Luck, who is legitimately the best QB prospect in the country.

    I think I counted over 30 times in a half our show where Mark may and Holtz said the word ''football'' in front of the words ''player'' and team''....annoying as hell.

    Keep an eye on Tyrod Taylor. He was fantastic against FSU in the ACC Title Game. A much better QB than given credit for and if Dennis Dixon can start in the NFL at a push, then so can Tyrod Taylor. I'm well aware of all the issues, but he's got a live arm - anyone remember that monster bomb just before the half against Tennessee in the Bowl games last season - and can create plays with his feet.

    Nice to see Rashad play his final game. Williams too. I'm off to bed, but will watch tomorrow night.

    So is Ross there for Gruden or Harrbaugh?

    Also keep an eye on #19 for Va Tech I was at ACC Championship game and he gutted FSU! He is Dallas Clarke Jr!

    That screen that went for naught was awesome..Tyrod showing incredible quickness, and accuracy on just a simple screen that was blown up...The receiver couldnt handle the athletes ability to put the ball on the money..

    6'4" 235 according to Stanford.

    So probably closer to 6'3" 225. That's still plenty good size.

    What a dumb ****ing play by that first year OL to catch that ball in the end zone. Though Luck's knee was probably down before he released anyway.

    I've liked Tyrod Taylor since the Boise game. The guy is just a damn football player. He's got a place on my team.

    And OMG what an escape and TD pass! WOW!!

    RB could have ruined it if he didn't get his feet in (or bobbled it), as the WR was right behind him waiting for the ball.

    There is a NFL frozen rope on the numbers as receiver was coming out of his break! Henne throws that late so safety can make a play on it!

    When Harbaugh let the game clock run down to 1:06 and called a time out with just a second left on the 40 second clock, he showed better clock management on one play than Sparano has shown in three years. Just sayin'

    Just wanted to give Taylor some props for some amazing play at the half. He is outplaying Luck so far though.

    Not a big college guy anymore. Haven't really seen either this year.

    Taylor vs Luck is the same skillset argument you have in the NFL with **** vs Manning/Brady. At the end of the day we know which skillset transfers to NFL success. However they are bother already better and more polished then Henne!

    Let me just save KB the hassle.... Tyrod is not an NFL caliber QB... He is not a pure drop back QB and he is not white...

    OK, now that that is out of the way we can resume our regularly scheduled program...

    On a serious note, Taylor is playing himself a hell of a game and is working his way up the draft boards in the process. The guy is just a flat out playmaker...

    Whoops, sorry, maybe I do then (haha!). But yeah, Luck and Stanford starting to pour it on. He does look good in a 350 play, complex offense.

    BTW- remember all the people who said Locker was gonna be the first QB taken?
