I like him, think he is a solid pro HC, also think with the lack of open coaching positions this offseason he goes to work for a network.

There just are not that many jobs open, just SF, Cleveland, and..that's it.

Cleveland wants a WCO HC, SF is pinning their hopes on Harbaugh..he has no place to go.

Fisher would be right alongside Harbaugh at the top of my preference list.

good point. I also doubt he comes back. I don't get the impression he's the kind of guy that would be comfortable with a network position. but if they pay him enough.

IMO, like Dr AZ, I have Harbaugh, Fisher then Cowher as my wish list.

He has the experience in the playoffs that I like, and I think Ross should be getting to him soon while to getting is good.

His last three years look very much like our last three years.

    But I like Fisher.

Same conference as the Colts, that I don't mind, his teams consistently made the playoffs and he has been through 3 or 4 rebuilds with the Titans Franchise and he mines talent in the UDFA market..so for me there is much to like.

He also had little problem working with Floyd Reese.

I would be thrilled with Fisher - but if not - what about Brian Billick?

There's already a Fisher thread or two if you're looking for some opinions and pro/con arguments.

Well, interestingly enough, while players cannot be traded for draft picks, employees under contract..can be traded for draft choices, or so Schefter or Mort or one those cats said.

Would you trade a draft pick for Jeff Fisher?

If so, what pick would he be worth?

he's the only coach being mentioned that i would be ok with replacing sparano with. having said that. i think we have to announce what we're doing with sparano by tomorrow and Fisher is still in limbo so I would pass at this time. Its doubtful he will leave Tennessee. All signs point to Vince Young getting dumped and Fisher being retained

No way the guy runs a dirty undisciplined program! If he can't control players in Nashville not a chance he controls them in South Beach! None of these excuses well he is in the Volts division so its ok he doesn't win it! Because it ain't going to get easier playing the Pats and Jets twice a year!

Would Bill Belichick trade himself for a 1st round pick?

While we are at it lets also take Vince Young and we can have the same problems the titans had to add to our own lol.
