As bad as this seems to look right now, tell me honestly, would anyone be complaining about how the process of letting Sparano go and the courtship of Gruden, Cowher and Harbaugh have been apparently taking place if the team is dramatically improved next season ?? Not me....sorry. I like Tony and what he's done, but it's simply not enough as a Dolphan.... However, I'm with a lot of others here that somehow feel this is going to blow up in our faces and Harbaugh is going back to Stanford, Gruden will stay on MNF and Cowher still needs time to do whatever he's doing now. We end up with Sparano here having lost all respect in the locker room or another dud coach...jmho and I hope I'm wrong, but we've been in this spot before as fans... Where's Don Shula when you need him....
Money is money. And if Cowher has any self worth, he has to figure if Harbaugh is worth 8 mil to Ross as coach, then he should be worth more as coach/GM. That is unless Cowher doesn't give a crap about money.
I'm starting to think harbaugh is going to stay at Stanford now. Especially with Luck staying. If he really is negotiating with Stanford again now after all we have offered then he can keep his little college gig. Were already the laughing stock of sports for how this has been handled, if Harbaugh goes elsewhere now, its only going to get worse, much worse. At that point I'd hope Mr Ross would just hang up the for sale sign and get the hell out of here. Afterall, there can't be many left in the nfl that still have respect for him after this debacle.
*puts on his Nostradamus cap* This is all smoke and mirrors. Harbaugh is coming to Miami. Even the announcement by Luck is a farce. Once Harbaugh is with us and Luck seemingly out of the picture; we will open up trade negotiations with Carolina to get their pick in the draft. Once that is acquired, Luck will then announce that he has changed his mind and will enter to 2011 draft. *takes off his Nostradamus cap*
