For God's sake Rocky, could you please wrap some quotes or something around that...It effed me up trying to decipher it.
Im not happy there wasnt change but im sorta glad we didnt pay that unproven coach 8 million a year. As a fan I always want my Fins to win but I foresee a bad bad year next year. Very Cam Cameron like, now Ricky's gone for sure we get to keep a gimp slow *** ronnie brown and pray Ingram doesnt go before 15th pick. Oh and lets not forget that it was Sparano in his closing speech that said Henne is still the guy "there" meaning on the roster i assume. WTF we going to do about that! Marshall hates Henne how do you fix that? Disaster strikes gentlemen, it strikes. We will have our first blackout in a long time...
So they reached a deal with Harbaugh? He goes back for one year to Stanford to try for a National Championship with Luck, and the Phins go 1-15, maybe 2-14 (1-17?) and are ready for a new HC with the #1 pick (Luck). Incredible plan, we just have to get ourselves through this upcoming season.... Seriously though, how can they get any decent OC to come in here, when Sparano is gone at the end of the year, or before if the Phins tank early.
Well, we know we'll have a tough team. If we learn from the mistake of tampering too much after the 4th pre-season game, let nolan do his job, and get a solid OC...we will be under the radar and may be ok. and yeah, that kinda blows... we're all tired of the flip-flop seasons, and hoping to be good. but i could care less of the "embarrassed" thing. no one will remember or care to remember this. its nothing. by april, no one will utter a word about it. in light of the mile long laundry list of jest embarrassments, from braylons early dui to rexy's cuckold fetish, its less than nothing.
Lombardi is reporting it as well. I HOPE with all my heart this a shrewd negotiating play and that we do not seriously intend to keep Sparano after all this.
Exactly, thats how they will play under Sparano from now on. Ross is an idiot and we're screwed from now on. The guy doesn't even live in So Fla, he's an absentee owner. A carpet bagger. This really tests your fandom.
it really is. Ross just trashed any credibility we built up over the last three years in one week. we werent world beaters but people respected what we were building. now our front office looks like clowns. if i'm sparano and i get this team into the playoffs i demand ireland is fired
Nolan will be interim HC by the bye week next year....this whole year is not even worth following besides the draft. I really hope the season ticket holders speak up and cancel immediately.
I would be extremely angry, in fact i would have to seriously consider not watching. The light on offense gone, nope that would not be good.
The Boycott is in.... pretty much everyone I know who has season tickets already says they are not going back. We all need to work on making sure that stadium is as empty as possible next season to voice the displeasure of the entire SoFlo community. Can't let this douchebag get away with ****ing us over like this. It's not fair to the fans.
meh, we interviewed a guy...it happens all the time, especially in this league. when one of your personnel cheats and trips an opposing player in the field of play...that makes you a laughing stock. this will be remembered as nothing.
Sparano is not that kind of guy. He will use this as motivation and the players will too to prove Sparano had it all along.
I am going to put it out there now... We don't win more than 4 games next season. Lame duck coach. No FA players are going to want to come here. You have players on offense that are pissed at Sparano. You have FA players on our roster now that are going to sign elsewhere (Ricky) because they are pissed at Sparano. So our problems on the OL won't be solved. Our problems at QB won't be fixed. We are losing our top 2 RB's and possibly 3. Sparano is still HC and that is just begging for more fist pumping FG's. Next season is a lost cause. And now Ross is going to beg the taxpayers to help fund stadium improvements. Riiiiiiiiiight. Get ready for blackouts in South Fl next season. Ticket sales will drop, butts won't be in seats, and there will be more booing than this year. But hey....we are better off with Sparano according to Ross. Way to F this whole thing up Stevie!
Yeah, good luck with that. Winning is all that matters. Let's see how the rest of the offseason plays out.
Like anyone outside of Miami gives a flying fu&&.. Life will go on with or without Sparano. We aren't the laughingstock of the NFL and Ross isn't anywhere near the crappy owner Snyder or Davis is. He simply explored various options.
thats what I;m thinking too. The defense loves the guy. He needs to bring in players on offense that have his back and this could be a great season
I highly doubt Sparano was retained because he was the best out of the others. Sparano was practically Plan D
Nfl.com breaking new Sparano told he will coach next year for the Dolphins It's official Sparano is staying which means another year of Henne. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000...rth-season-with-dolphins?module=breaking_news NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora reported that Dolphins owner Steve Ross and other officials are en route to Florida from their pursuit of Harbaugh in California. The team likely will announce its decision to retain Sparano on Friday.
So long to all of the dolts here ready to boycott the team because Ross was unable to forcefully force Harbaugh in to signing here. Makes a lot of sense to forgo the team using absolutely ridiculous logic.
Whoa lets not go crazy. All I gotta say is thank god for the Heat. Basketball, though will never be as big as football is going to get me through this next year or so of bad Dolphin football.
