Remind me. You see anyone in here creaming their panties over Ronnie & Rickey? If I remember correctly after the playoffs last year, all we heard was about that "beast" Shonn Greene. How'd that work out? Oh yea...one game and second string. That's why I say I'll wait to pass judgement. One game against a **** team that wasn't playing for anything in the last game of the season means squat. And really bro...the old "well what about YOUR team" reply whenever anyone points out your team's deficiencies is gettin' a tad old.
You know I was being sarcastic about with my McKnight comment, right? No one in their right mind would proclaim anything off one one start. I am not sure if you watched the game, but McKnight did make the most if his start. He ran hard, had some nice moves, and actually held onto the ball. It was a nice to see. I see him in the role Leon Washington played before he broke his leg. As far as Greene, I think he is a solid running back. I thought he would get more carries than 185, but he managed 766 yards for a 4.1 average. Tomlinson had 219 carries. I'm not sure I would classify Greene as "second string", but I am not going to argue with you. Lastly, I don't see why countering your claim that your dead grandmother could have run all over the bills by pointing out that not every team has run on them. I happened to pick yours, which piled up an impressive 65 rushing yards. I guess I could have picked Cleveland who only rushed for 105 against them and they have a damn good back. But it just so happens that the Dolphins couldn't even squeak out 70 yards on the ground against them, so I picked them. My bad.
Lions rushed for 76 against them. Bears rushed for 105 and 39 of that was by Cutler. Green Bay rushed for 91 with 20 going to Rodgers.
Again thanks for releasing Woodhead and giving him to NE, really, thanks. Will you get spanked this week by Indi or next by a rested Patriots team with their head coach having 2 weeks to prepare for a team he just beat 45-3? Only difference between our teams is that we get the better draft pick...
The Jets did not give him to NE. Anyone could have signed him, including the Dolphins. How hard is that to understand? Did you "give" Houston Jasen Allen? As for the rest of your bitter post, I think the Jets have a decent shot at beating the Colts, but I agree that they will be hard pressed to beat the Patriots. And there are plenty of things that are different between our teams other than your better draft pick, but I won't go into it in your time of mourning *fist pump*
You did not "give" him to the Patriots but releasing him, well that did not help. Yes, you have Darrelle Revis and a better D. But Sanchize is average at best and your running attack is a bit overrated. Do not get me wrong the Jets are better than the Dolphins and Rex is way better than Sparano. But the fans, maybe not you, talk as if the Jets are the best team ever. The Jets have not won anything, meanwhile the Patriots fans are very respectful and they have every right to talk smack.
Thanks for clearing that up I would contend that Miami has a better defense, or of anything, they are very close. The biggest difference to me is the offense and special teams (but Miami has a much better FG kicker...and man did he get a lot of practice). I also like our coaching better, but Rex's time management is just as bad as Fist Pumper's.
You have more playmakers, especially with those two corners. If you combined the very best Jets and Dolphins, would that team defeat NE? Questionable...
Corners may be better, but Miami has a better D Line. Like I said - it's close. As far as beating NE, NY did it this year and last year with their own personnel. But I hear you. NE is scary good right now.
That was the Randy Moss Patriots not the new and improved, I have so many weapons I can sit three of them and still put up 38 on Miami. That Polish TE they have is a monster! As is their scragly PR/WR, Edelman.
No way. I told you, I WANT the Jets to win. That way they and their coach will get all cocky again and go up to NE for some more humiliation.
Rex thinks Brady is an average QB at best, product of the system....Yawn. His act is getting old. As I say to the Jets fans, win something then you can talk.
Rex will never shut up. He's too effin stupid. Heard a good point on Mike & Mike this morning...you never hear a championship coach talk like that.
I want the Jets to win against NE, no way the Jets win the SB, they will screw it up.....NE on the other hand can and will win the SB...
Sucks the Jets have to go through Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Ben/Flacco, and probably Vick/Ryan/Brees/or Rodgers to win it all. Will make everything that much better. One game at a time, though.
Shows your lack of knowledge in that post just alone. Interceptions does not justify how good or bad a CB is. Team completely avoid Revis. I want to see McCourty hold Calvin Johnson to 1 reception, 13 yards. I want to see McCourty hold Andre Johnson to 1 reception, 20 yards. We're a straight man-to-man defense. We throw in zone once in awhile but the Pats play more zone than they do man. Making it more easier to CBs to have interceptions. That was really dumb. Not surprised because it came from a Miami Dolphin fan.
Funny Scouts, Inc. sees it otherwise Patriots rookie Devin McCourty was one of the best defensive backs against the deep ball. He led the league with seven interceptions and 14 pass disruptions (interceptions plus passes defended) on balls thrown at least 15 yards from the line of scrimmage. Most Int This Season Passes 15+ Yards Downfield Devin McCourty7 <Ed Reed6Four tied at4> 4 in 3rd qtr (led NFL) McCourty recorded all of his picks this season on deep balls, and he did not do it against slouches either. He intercepted passes intended for Calvin Johnson, Pierre Garçon and Braylon Edwards, as well as defending balls intended for Terrell Owens, Percy Harvin and Todd Heap. McCourty showed a penchant for making a big play when the Patriots needed one. Five of his seven picks came in the second half of games, and of those five interceptions, three came with the Pats up by two scores or fewer, halting any potential comeback.
What are you trying to prove with your posts? They're still playing zone. He still has help almost 80% of plays. Why the **** am I arguing with this rookie? He's comparing McCourty or Darrelle Revis. SEE YA!
In your post before this one, you actually state that you think the Jets will beat Manning, Brady AND Rothlelisberger, and then whoever is on the NFC side, when your pass defense has been getting torched all season. And you're calling Dolphin fans dumb?
Thanks Antoine...but you're the one who believes the Jets will roll to the SB, this is the same team that lost 45-3 to McCourty...nice man to man D.
Darrelle Revis is the best CB ever. Comparing anyone to him is a complete joke. You should get slapped for even mentioning McCourty and Revis in the same sentence. Again, have fun watching us in the playoffs.
Yea yea...and Bart Scott's the best LB, and Sanchez is the best QB, and Fatass is the best coach....yawn. Don't worry, you'll be joining us soon. Only thing is, our coach and team kept their mouths shut, so we won't look anywhere near the bunch of *******s your team will look like when you're embarrassed again in either Indy or Foxboro.
Dude, I was just razzing you but best CB ever? Deion Sanders is rolling now as is Ty Law. Come on now, relax, I was just teasing. But all jokes aside, you truly believe that McCourty is a bum?
Not for nothing, but you guys don't even need to play a game in order to embarrass yourselves sent from my EVO 4G
