http://blogs.sun-sentinel.com/sport...ins-doesnt-anybody-wanna-coach-this-team.html According to this....team sources have reported definite tension between Sparano and Ireland.... Not like I cant understand why....but I think this is the reason at this point...Ross can only save this by cleaning house...starting over and getting Cowher. Sorry, I just cant see this working in our interest to have Sparano and Ireland working together. Can you imagine how this would unfold during the draft..if they didnt trust each other.... "Nearly 15 hours after multiple national reports surfaced that the Miami Dolphins planned to keep Tony Sparano as their coach in 2011, we still haven’t heard any such announcements. Sparano himself reportedly hadn’t been told anything as of this morning, and now I think we know why. A source monitoring the situation tells the Sun Sentinel there is definite tension between Sparano and General Manager Jeff Ireland. A relationship that dates back eight years to their time with the Dallas Cowboys has indeed been strained, the source said."
"Sources"... Enough with these god damn "sources" and their bull****... I'm done with the media. Its all speculation and throwing **** at the wall... **** it...
well, players have spoken out. we know that. if FistPumper is retained, wouldnt surprise me in the least if Marshall goes
have you been around the last few days? well 53 of them said f u on Sunday against NE. you miss that?
Oh come on. The Pats kicked our *** pain and simple. I didn't see Bess quit when he made that TD catch. Or Marshall quit breaking tackles on the same drive. There have been numerous players over the last 5 days that have backed Sparano publicly.
I'm just glad, I saw this as the problem from the get go. I mean so many different piles of crap being thrown at the same wall paints a pretty ugly and SMELLY picture of the MEDIA. There is no way all of these stories are all true. In time we shall see. I just hope Ross, who has yet to let anything be officially stated, gets the ship off the iceburg....
Ricky Williams said some things before his scheduled meditation regiment.... Then some dumb dumb in a Jets uniform followed up with it.
The defense quit. The offense just sucked as usual. Can you blame them??? The D kicked *** all season only to be let down time and time again by our lousey underachieving O. Personally I'm happy Ross didn't throw 7-8 million at an unproven college coach. Things aren't as bad as the media wants to portray things. We all know they love drama. I think Tony knows what he did, didn't work. He put himself in this position. That being said, I don't think his feelings aren't hurt. He's getting a second chance. Most coaches don't get this chance. Now we all have to hope he changes a few things and rights this ship.
This is a newspaper saying it. Not some twitter sportshole, a NEWS ****ING PAPER. All you guys need to understand this is a very dysfunctional FO and it will only be a disaster.
Ricky Williams for one, but he didn't care what he said because he is no longer a Dolphin, and spoke his mind. No need for him to be PC.
Yes but THIS particular reporter was ONE of the twitter sportshole's that was downright giddy about his twitter coverage. He's been pushing this soap opera. Just get the clicks man. Just get the clicks.
LOL,the other source says the front office and Sparano are working out a deal. Doesn't that include Ireland? man I wanna be in on those negotiations.
The Dolphins could diffuse a lot of this by saying something.....but instead we get cickets sound. They are at least as much at fault as the media.
It would be interesting if he wasn't in on it. But I am sure he is. Doesn't mean there isn't still a lot of tension between the two.
Twitter is generally more credible than newspapers due to the broader range of persons contributing to the former.
You guys read the original post, right? It is from a source that is "monitering" the situation. That could literally be ANY ONE OF US. Something to keep in mind.
and just because he doesn't jibe with a goody-goody namby pamby Teletubbies world that all is fine and there is nothing wrong world that some here want everything he tweets is wrong and not credible ?
Oh c'mon Sam......you know that Irish & Guido are probably in trunks and now air boxing in their corners waiting for that bell (rung by Carl Peterson).
Jeff Ireland looks like he might be hot, not so the Jersey boy - however he did lose all that pasta fat. He might be worth a look I guess.
It is the Dolphins job to explore all options when it comes to their team. They should leave no stone unturned and when you're in the process of turning those stones, it's hard to tell everyone what you have every second of the day. It will come out soon enough....
