I was thinking. Sparano has some playcalling ability according to Parcells when he was in Dallas. Why not call the plays himself. Thoughts??

Andy Reid was probably the best at being the HC AND the play-caller at the same time in nfl history, and yet he still gave it up eventually. It's clearly just too much for a HC to have to deal with on top of everything else.

I do wish we had tried it in the last couple games though, just to see if anything would have improved.

**** no. He can barely handle being a HC let alone doing both jobs. Haven't we learned from the Cam experiment?

Why not have him start at Quarterback while we're at it.

This... It's questionable at this point whether he can handle the HC role let alone be a dual HC/coordinator that VERY FEW coaches have ever pulled off successfully.

The only way Sparano works as our HC is if we go out and get a dynamic OC to run the offense and to help offset Sparano's conservative tendencies.

I'd be OK with McDaniels either being the OC or QB coach.

who's to say he didn't take over in the last few games? no thanks but keep him in the lobby in case we can't find a o.c that wants to come here because we may need him to do so if everyone else says no.
