Per jeff darlington, finally get some answers about what went on this week. http://twitter.com/Jeff_Darlington/status/23475603701243904
Media session that no one knew what it was about has now been cancelled for reasons no one (including those who cancelled it) knows.
I feel like the Miami Dolphins should hire the narrator from Arrested Development. Just let him do the entire press conference.
790 is reporting that meeting has been canceled already so hold your breathe it may still be a while before we get official answers.
Oh I think we know why it was cancelled. Hank Goldberg mentioned one of the reasons. He said that if they tried to shove that "Stadium improvement" stuff on the media while all of this was happening he said he and all of the other media would get up en mas and exit the media room. It was announced that Mike Dee was to talk, and none of the ones who went to Cali or Sparano. They caught wind of what the media was going to do, and there would be video cameras there catching all the media walking out. That would have been just one more embarrassing event this week.
Probably the smartest thing they have done all week! The arrogance this front office has they won't answer any questions so what is the point? Tomorrow or over the weekend they will announce some sort of extension for Morano and the off season excitement is over till we see which cornfed linemen the draft in April!
and it would not be juvenile to walk out. The media has a responsibility to report news, not a Dolphins agenda. The Dolphins want a law changed and this was to be a media "roundtable" to talk about it. They also laid down rules about what questions would be allowed to be asked. If I was a member of the media I would leave too.
I wish Wade, Lebron and Bosh played for the dolphins...............we'd be unstoppable.............!!!!!
Rescheduled for tomorrow. I am guessing to announce something to do that will affect the team on some level. /beat writer
Sounds to me like something last minute happened that through their entire press conference plan a monkey wrench. I don't know about the rest of you guys, but even though I've not been happy with our team this year and my high expecatations for the season were shattered, I'm going to feel sorry for Sparano next season...a one year extension on his contract...having had the owner court high name head coaches...the slobbering media coverage of Miami courting Harbaugh...there's no WAY Sparano's going to have any credibility in the locker room. Well, many players said they supported Sparano and trumpted what a great coach he is. Who knows, maybe all of this drama will motivate them to actually play better next season...let their play stand up for their coach. I dunno...feel like I'm babbling now.
