As a paying customer I deserve the right to trash this organization if I am dissatisfied. I'm not hopping on the Patriots bandwagon. Want an example of an organization that doesn't have a clue? Look no further than our beloved Miami Dolphins. We've done nothing so far in my entire life time. Nothing. In 22 years I have no idea what winning feels like. Thank God for the Heat, Canes, and Marlins.

We have done nothing because outside of the Trifecta, we tried to patch raging floods with band aids. We never had the balls as franchise to rebuild the team from the bottom up. To fix the trenches. To have a plan of attack.

For the first time since I've been a fan (30 years now), we have finally stuck to a plan and now that we hit some adversity, three freaking years removed from infamy, everyone gets their panties in a wad and attacks the ownership and the organization from all angles. It's pure HORESCRAP and I'll call it how I see it. Henne had severe growing pains that NOBODY could have anticipated and our special teams killed us. But beyond that we have made strides.

These players were either signed or developed amazingly under this regime.

We had CRAP in 2008 when training camp started. We finally have built a nucleus and now everyone is going to jump ship because the owner explored different options? Please. I know everyone is emotional about this but it is beyond ridiculous.

I don't know how that conversation went or what transpired, but either we refused to bend over and let Harbaugh stick it in without lube or Harbaugh played us to leverage the 49'ers.

None of us on here (i think) have anything 'real' to do with the dolphins. You having a patriots player as your av just shows that you must like Tom Brady. Cause, personally, i couldn't do it.

And you want to get mad? In our 22 years on this planet, the bills have lost 4 superbowls. the Eagles have lost 3 NFC championships and then a super bowl, the chargers never got to one with one of the best rosters ive ever seen, the seahawks, eagles, cardinals, lions, etc have NEVER won a super bowl, and all of these teams did not have the joy of seeing Dan Marino play for their team.

 

I'm sorry. I'm too disappointed and frustrated right now to even think of anything this regime has done in a positive light. I do admire your optimism. Hopefully we can continue this conversation in the offseason.

He gave us an interview out of respect nothing more nothing less..on the record saying he would choose frisco...no way he chooses what our culture has to offer more than the niners and that area.

I don't care what BS story Ross sold Schefter, everyone except a few Pollyannas know that Ross got snubbed by Harbaugh. The Dolphins again look like a joke, just like when Saban left us for Alabama, just like when we passed on Brees for Culpepper, just like when we drafted Ginn, just like when we took Long instead of Ryan. A change of owners hasn't done anything to change this team's image.

Do you really believe Ross fired up his Gulstream IV and flew across the country at the cost of 17-20k a flight hour, through the middle of the night mind you and not make an offer? Remember they already met with Harbaugh at the Orange Bowl.

I don't feel bad about this at all. We didn't "lose" Harbaugh. I have no interest in college coaches. I want guys that have NFL coaching experience.

I can only imagine all that time studying film, game planning, the hours spent in the gym. One day the moment will occur to many that you don't get to make the decisions or influence the outcome of the game and your only investment is your time rooting for the team. If you've invested more then you bought fools gold.

I commend Ross for seeing this and not persuing him further. If Ross keeps Sparano, I think it is a mistake but this is not the end of the damned earth. That was 4 seasons ago when the team almost set the record for no wins in a season..
