Hard..........it is just so hard to be supportive. You want to be patient. But the human element is always there. You reach a point where you have to be realistic. We all wanted change after this past year. We saw the product on the field. We agree, though we argue the "why", that the product on the field did not work.

So maybe you are like me, shocked to see that rather then change, the staff that was unable to lead us this year, was actually rewarded with 3 more years. Like the sample size, we got, was not enough? Ross offers an apology...what does that do....for us? So....now what? You want us to support the same product again next year?

I read blogs of fans and I admire their loyalty. But even the most dedicated and die hard fan has to be shaking his head right about now!

It is not enough now to get talent like Dansby or Marshall. Miami seems to be clueless on how to best use them. That means they often are not putting players in position to best succeed.

Players on the field seem to be playing with no effort or energy. There is no love for the game. So if the players are like that, how can they expect the fans in the stands to be excited?

The Fins lack fundamentals. Tackling, catching, throwing. It is frustrating to be a Fins fan. I dont understand how snake bitten you can be in the drafts. Or why every team makes a push at some point. At the very least, teams battle harder and become more competetive.

We can no longer live off of what the Fins did in 1972. There needed to be an overhaul and yet everything is the same. You have an owner who admits he knows nothing about football and HE is the one interviewing.

Guys, I dont know what to say.....i cant believe it has come down to this....and how can Sparano coach if it obvious to everyone in the locker room, they tried to get rid of him, and if no one respects him?

We are the laughing stock of the league. And I heard on the radio that some dolphin executive is saying the Dolphin defense is all set and/or the problem. Those guys CANT TACKLE. They cannot STOP THE PASS. Forget the numbers or ranks. We got smoked this year over and over, and often by sub .500 teams. It IS NOT soley the fault of the offensive. We dropped sooooo many INTS......OMG!!

Like some of you, I am upset. I dont know how Ross wants me to spend my hard earned money in this tough economy, to see the SAME product on the field. Other fans tell me to be patient and wait and see and to be supportive............so how much of this am I supposed to take???

Dansby was used right. The defense as a whole performed better than they should have ranking Top 5. With Dansby in they were ranked 3rd. However, the offense was clueless, O-Line an absolute mess, lack of speed and a shaky QB who probably will go the way of Jay Fiedler. No matter how good the defense is it's hard to overcome that. Good news is the O-Line can be fixed in one offseason, just like it was destroyed in one offseason. QB you just have to get lucky if one becomes available.

If they cant make the playoffs in 2011, or win 10 games at least even if they miss on tiebreaker or something, then the coaches all need to be fired.

They had players so far outof position so many times, they had no chance to make plays. Maybe it was becuz they called the wrong play. Youthink Miami was really among the top based on stas. How open were opposing WRS, how many INT drops and missed tackles?

It's easy to say things. The internet doesn't give you a license to not have to prove them though.

All I can say Cubano is that they have 1 more year to show an ability to overcome the variables and inspire..1 year...if so, they will have deserved more time, because of the tremendous disadvantages they will have overcame..If not, Bill cowher wants to coach next year.

the fans and execs that think this Phins defense is all set I dont get. clearly Crowder needs to be upgraded. Cam Wake needs a legit pass rusher opposite him to help out. Imagine this defense if wake went down. No pass rush whatsoever.

Ross wanted flip that michigan rock....cant blame in, he fu$#ed up, he admitted it, and he showed humility.

I don't buy that for an instant Deej, Sparano knows how close he came to losing his job and that Irish was there will the execution was being planned and the first steps taken, they probably will be able to work professionally but their friendship is toast.
