I know ... not even a rumor yet. Elway says he is not an NFL QB. I think he is better than what we are let ride on our roster. Perhaps Ross can make up some ground witht he fans by ditching Henne and picking up Tebow? I like him a hell of a lot more than Vince Young.
If Ross wants a mob with torches and pitchforks outside his office trading for Tebow as our next QB would do the trick.
I really wish people would stop using definitive titles for speculation/opinion threads. At least put a question mark at the end of Dolphins.
they're out there Tebow, Young, Kolb, Orton, Palmer, maybe more the QB position will be addressed in the draft or free-agency personally, I'd like to see Carson Palmer get a shot or go after the best in the draft
When did Elway say this? I heard his presser the other day and he never said anything like that referring to Tebow. http://www.prosportscolorado.com/2011/01/05/4076-elway-rejoins-broncos-as-vp-of-football-operations/
Id take him in a heartbeat. The guy has guts and heart. Way more than what you can say about chad henne. Its hard to back a guy who has no emotion.
I would gladly take Tim Tebow. He is going to be something in this league. I don't care what anyone says.
No emotion is not the same as no guts and no heart'. When this regime had faith in Henne we were all calling him a strong leader, so were his teammates. It's obvious that Henne's piss poor play corresponded to the coaches pulling back on the reins. He lost all confidence. That's why we need a good young energetic OC. Trading for Tebow is almost as stupid an idea as the suggestion to start Vince Young
Wayne Weaver; owner of the Jags has a huge mancrush on Tebow especially as it pertains to ticket sales. He'd outbid Ross everyday of the week and twice on Sunday.
I don't see us bringing in Josh Mcdaniels. Don't he and Brandon Marshall have a bad history together?
True. Hard to argue that. Maybe we hire someone like Brad Childress then trade for Kevin Kolb or sign Matt Hasselback? Just a thought?
Wow. I didn't think I could ever just completely disown this team, but trading for Tebow could possibly do that...
As much as I love Tim Tebow, he's not going anywhere. He'll stay in Denver unless John Elway does his impression of Jerry Jones circa 1980 something with Hershall Walker and trades Tebow for a massive amount of trade picks
Well you certainly stepped up and completely settled that debate! All that insignt convinced me, no more need to be said.
Brad Childress didn’t call plays in Philadelphia, nor were his Vikings offenses known for schematic originality or creativity. It wasn’t until Favre decided to have one last hurrah under a more responsible Darrell Bevell that their offense looked good. Childress should not be an option. Not when guys like Josh McDaniels are out there.
Meh, when two future Hall of Famers say the he has no clue offensively, that's not a good sign. Even if one is Randy Moss.
Here is the link you were too ignorant to look up or follow in the media the last few days. http://www.examiner.com/sports-twit...fies-comments-made-about-broncos-qb-tim-tebow As to your comments about my college football leanings .. learn to read what does my name say.... I take that as a personal insult.
If We Ever Had The Chance to Pick Up Tim Tebow Id Take Him Simply Because -HARDEST And I Really Mean HARDEST Worker In the NFL -Gives It His All On the Field -The Guys a Winner Man -Hes a LEADER -Can Make Something Out Of Nothing -Hes Always IMPROVING -Dedicated To Football -He Will Be A Top QB in this League I Dont Know Why So Many People will Turn Tebow Down this guy has all the aspects of a Great Quarterback "Hard Work Beats Talent When Talent Doesnt Work Hard" Just Look At Matt Lineart,Brady Quinn,Jamarcus Russell, and Ryan Leaf. Very Talented Guys But When they Hit the NFL, They werent the type of player they was in College. QBs Like: Josh Freeman,Drew Brees,Peyton Manning,Aaron Rodgers, Matt Ryan and Tom Brady etc. (You Cant Just Go From a 6th Round Pick and Become a Top QB after a few games Brady Worked Hard to Play Well)
And heres the link you were too arrogant to read or post up too. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=6004301
Why would you even post this? I mean, seriously. You bring down the whole forum by doing this. It's not even February. I could see it then. Not now. Please. And who cares what Elway has to say? Same with Marino. The brilliantly talented may not recognize the same talent. Matter of fact, there's probably a reason they aren't coaches.
