General manager Jeff Ireland did disclose what he believed were important positions to address in building a team.

''One is cornerback, one is left [offensive] tackle, pressure players, a quarterback, a No. 1 receiver, nose tackle,'' Ireland said. "I think those are all important, and I think those are all core positions.''

Strike left tackle with the Dolphins taking Michigan's Jake Long first overall.

All those other positions have holes, especially when it comes to young talent that will be around in three or four years.

I suspect they will also look for another OT as well and move Carey to LG.

It very well may come down to who is on the board and if Taylor has already been traded.

QB? Oh . This better not decrease the chances of Beck being our 'chise QB.

Well as long as they're the BPA, I'm ok with that.

With Jake, we still only have 3 tackles on the team. We certainly need another tackle that can be a backup tackle, and move inside to challenge for the empty guard spot. And without a 4th and 5th round pick, unless we get more picks, it certainly looks like we'll have to use a 2nd or 3rd round pick for another OL.

Look for Charles Godfrey, D-Back, Iowa.....to be our first pick tomorrow to open the Third Round.

Brown went a long time ago.

Oh well, we knew we weren't going to be competitive this year. We know we're gonna need two more drafts before we see any results and we couldn't fix everything this year.

His post was at 2:02pm, nobody but Jake was gone at that time.

I still want Connor and Zuttah, and a D-Back, then I'll be pretty happy about this draft. We still need another OL, either a guard or tackle (like I said earlier, Zuttah please), then defense the rest of the way works for me.

NFL network guys saying Tuna is likely fielding offers for our first in the third. That would be a good move imo. If we could pick up another 2-3 picks, there are still lots of good players out there to be had.

Who is playing guard? We got rid of Booker so surely we have a replacement?
