I wouldn't worry about the lack of patience or the lack of intelligence that is spewing from posters like that. They don't understand that Henne was put into a situation where he absolutely couldn't succeed or they just care to ignore it because it is easier to just bash the guy and give no solid description of why they think he sucks. I think they are pissed because they called for his head and he lost his job only to get it back. They were wrong about how successful in their minds Penny would be and that was a joke. Thiggy same result and Henne won his job back and played with a dislocated knee cap. You can tell the anger toward you because they resort to insults. When they attack you personally that is when you can really sense the frustration.

I am on the side that believes that Henne does need some more time for us to find out exactly what we could get out of him, but to say Pennington was a unsuccessful is incorrect. Pennington got hurt, but our offense was just fine with him while he was at QB for those few plays, in fact, we actually saw a receiver get quite a few YAC on his one completion (I know shocking right?). I'm not convinced that a healthy Pennington gets replaced in that Titans game.

I really don't think that Henne won his job back as much as it was handed to him, Thigpen looked awful in that Chicago game and we had no other options. The bigger concern would be that Thigpen did end up seeing more playing time.

So the so called Henne bashers are wannabe scouts but the blind supporters are somehow more qualified to judge his talent? Interesting. I guess the objective opinions about Henne's future as a starting NFL QB aren't valid either since they don't match the supporters on here.

I can't recall anyone saying Henne was a good QB. I sure haven't said it. All the "Henne supporters" are saying is that its too early to close the book on him. And there's nothing objective about saying Henne "sucks", is a bust, etc. An objective criticism would be, Henne dislapys poor eye discipline, he fails to focus on the secondary while moving in the pocket and misses out on potential plays down field. Or Henne fails to alter his delivery point to account for hands/arms in his passing lanes and has a ton of balls batted down. Just saying Henne "sucks" is a clear sign you don't know what you're talking about IMO.

Its a shame that a "Henne supporter" has to explain what's wrong with him to Henne bashers, but Oh well. Hopefully ToddPhins shows up soon b/c I tend to lose my patience after a while .

The jury has not passed the verdict on Chad Henne yet....

He still can regain his Michigan swagger but the clock is ticking.

I have given my specific reasons as to why I believe he will never be a successful NFL QB only to have the more immature members start with their childish jabs. Not everyone does that but it happens and gets old.

You see the difference is that you were expecting Marino and I was expecting a young QB that would need to be developed. You set your hopes way too high and it bit you right on the ***. Now you need a place to ***** and let go of the frustrations.
Lucky for us you landed here. :shifty:

Personally, I haven't seen your list, but I'd like to. I don't see how ANYONE could say that a QB will never be successful after 20+ mediocre starts. Lack of work ethic maybe, but footwork, vision, awareness, those are coachable weaknesses. Lets see the list though...

Yeah, I got all pissed off.

Hey man lose the avy it's not for public use. It is my personal signature and I made the thing myself. Be respectful please.
Not for public use huh?? Ok, a PM might have been a better option. Anyway, there ya go.

Tsk..Tsk! PM's are made to stay private. Posting them in the public forum, I believe, is breaking the TOS. :)
