I know JT has lost a couple of steps, but if your watching this game, is it me or does he look fat and really slow.

Yeah he definitely looks heavier than he used to be. I was thinking that when they showed his stats and it said 250. Hard to believe.

off-topic but is it even a debate anymore or do people actually think Henne is better than Sanchez?

I'm embarrassed for them if they do. Sanchez can be pretty underwhelming at times but how big were those fluke playoff games he got to play last season. He shrugged off a crappy first quarter and was a significant part of their huge upset.

The guy has def lost a step....isn't even close to being an impact player anymore. At least he's getting what he paid for, he's getting his shot. He better get that ring though, it would suck to ruin your reputation with a fan base that you used to be so loved by for a trip to the playoffs that comes up empty.

    Go Steelers!!!

Taken that Sanchez had a 10x better supporting cast than Henne this season...So 1 good playoff game and Sanchez is great all of a sudden? Last I remember, the Patriots secondary was awful. Sanchez is a bum that is being carried by his team. Did you see his game against Indy last week?

He put on 25 pounds during his first move to OLB role in Miami and never lost it as far as I know. I thought it was a mistake when they asked him to do it but now as part of a rotation lineman its necessary. While he is a HOF player, I believe, I still think of him as a quitter and always will.

Traitor ? The guy wanted to stay in Miami but the front office dicked him around and he was forced to sign with the Jets. I hate the Jets
but respect Taylor and will never forget his hard word and dedication he put in and off the field for Miami.

You are 100% correct. This guy was one of the if not the best defensive end in the history of the franchise. If your boss doesn't want you what do you?You go some place where you are wanted in this case the jets.Taylor now has a chance to get a ring which what every player dreams about.

The "they made him play for the Jets" BS. Is hilarious. Sounds like an episode of Cops. "They made me go with them to buy that weed" or "They made me go with them to rob that liquor store". Fact is he chose to play with the Jets. He signed a contract, on his own free will.

Wow. So my $15 an hour job is the same as JT's $1.5 Millon a year job, great argument.

I feel the same way. Actually I felt a little bad for JT. He was giving it his all as usual but he`s just not the same player. His effort always was and will be 100%. I`m sure some will say the hell with him he`s a Jet now and thats true to a point but I`ll never forget what he did for us. HOWEVER, I still dont want him to get a ring with those bastards.

1.5 millon or 0. $15 or 0 same thing.Either way you can't keep your standard of living or his making $0.

Oh man, Jt would be suffering just as much as I would if I lost my job, right. So your saying JT has no life after football? He's been preparing for that for years. Look, he chose to be a Jet. If he didn't he would not be one.

Remember the days of Thomas saying people quit after awful playoff losses? I remember what JT had to say after a game vs the Titans when the team fell behind early. We basically said they had no chance to win after they fell behind because "that's not the type of team we are". That comment always stuck with me and my soured my opinion of him forever. Him leaving the Dolphins I don't care about, its a business, and if the front office treats you with disrespect (seems to be a pattern), what can you expect?

They are 10 times because they are better coached and play sound fundamental football in all facets of the game. Their offensive skill gets to shine as a result while ours languishes in a perpetual state of confusion.

Better than Henne yes, but I don't think he's very good. I think he'll end up being a game manager at best. That was a cake secondary today, and usually Sanchez is a huge liability to the offense.

TBH this is the first playoff game that id say he's won. He did well for sure, but most of the other games he's been in, he was a liability and treated as such.

Forced to sign with the jets? No he wasn't, i'm sure there wasn't a gun to his head. Did Zach Thomas sign with the jets or Patriots when this regime forced him out

Sanchez is better than Henne, it's obvious. Trading up in the draft really can work Dolphins.

As for JT, the Jets were the only team that wanted to sign him, and they payed him well. It was either that, or retire. He didn't want to retire, so whatever. Just something else for the Front Office to suck up.

Maybe they'll open their eyes now that the pressure is on, and now that they've seen the success of these teams. Or will they still play it safe all the time?

While I hate the Jets with a passion I watched with great pleasure the stomping of girly Brady and will get just as much pleasure watching Jason Taylor get his RING. The guy will have earned it and he also deserves to be in the Hall and the Ring will put him over the top and get him there!

He wanted out of Miami the first time. And I guess it who you listen too the second time, from what I heard the offer was on the table for him for a while and he waited, and we pulled the offer.
