Yeah, I'm no techie either so maybe they can see who the IP address is from. However, when I get an email from people I don't see an IP address. Not saying that someone who is good with computers can't.
#Dolphins spokesman Harvey Greene said Chad Henne's mom told the team today that she never sent an email to LeBatard, so its probably a hoax http://twitter.com/BenVolinPBP
Too many people here say the staff failed at developing henne. That's just speculation. Maybe they put in extra work with him and he's just too damn dumb to get it. Teachers teach. That's what they do. Some of the students get it and get an A on the finals and some who received the same information, even with extra studying, get an F. We have a D in henne. The coaches didn't want henne to fail because they knew their job was on the line if he did. Some people keep hanging on hope. Hoping he will one day get it. See below They should have just not had a comment about it. This franchise is looking more silly each day. Can't Al Davis have a conference today and shine the spotlight off us for a couple of weeks.
They didn't. They asked Bryant if his mom was a prostitute. And it turns out his dad was a pimp and that she was a prostitute. But hey, don't miss out on a chance to try to take a shot at the organization, right?
Actually it was the rest of the NFL that called her a prostitute, and Jeff Ireland just asked Dez if it was true.
Right..... and what he should have done is ask him after he makes a play will he throw the football at ppl and get drive killing penalties for acting like a big baby. Well that and will he drop a lot of passes and score more than 3 TD's.
Systems Administrator here... Spoofed email addresses are very, very easy to do. If someone knew his mom's email address, there's a number of programs, and websites you can use that can fire off emails to make it look like it came from anyone. They're usually easy to spot by the trained eye, but to a journalist odds are he's not scrutinizing it like an IT person would. If you've ever seen any emails from spammers that show as from you, to you, then you understand what I mean. Every message has header data in it (kind of behind the scenes code that is used in routing the messages from one mail server to another), in this data it will show you what the originating server is. I've never seen a case of it, but I'm pretty sure that can be spoofed too to an unprotected receiving mail server. In all honesty I just don't buy it. I think it's a device being used during a media lull to try and get hits. Henne's mom/family gains nothing out of this. Anyone should understand that jumping into the media circus only stands to make your kid look like a B**** who can't take it. Anyways, thats the technical side of it for those that were wondering. I can explain it in more depth if anyone's curious.
They keep the coverup going and the lies rollin'. You gotta love these clowns. Her email account sent the email. period.
Would anyone else be surprised if Henne's mom drops him off and picks him up from training camp? Maybe they'll carpool with Juan Huron's family?
This could hurt Henne's chances of even staying with the Dolphins. The team has to do everything possible to keep fist pumper looking legitimate. First we all see proof that fist pumper only got the job because he is buddies with the piece of **** Parcells and now this.
I explained how absurd that theory is already. or just use common sense... who would create a elaborate hoax based on a irrelevant mother of a irrelevant QB from a irrelevant football team?
A typical fan with too much time on his hands for one. An IT person just chimed in on how easy it is to do something like this. Not to mention Lebatard himself. He's a radio personality that has built his fame by focusing on the dramatic and rumor side of sports rather than sports itself. Look how much play he's getting out of this. It's gold and would be well worth his time to put together.
He would not and nobody for that matter, would risk a stations fcc license and a total of 7 figures in jobs from the Herald and espn to impersonate as obscure a person as you can impersonate. and yet again...the email came from her email account. that is all the proof needed. this is not a email from the Fed chairman or the president of the united states.
I know a dozen people that can spoof an email address and it would take a subpoena to tell the difference. I hope you're not under the impression that a radio station can call an ISP service like AOL or whoever and receive personal information about a user. It sounds like you must be saying they were able to hack into a private database and confirm the info. At least that's much better than running with a questionable story.
