On my phone I was given an ESPN Alert saying that resigned. I don't know if anyone cares or if you do. I just thought I was say something. You don't think it has to do with the tripping issue with Nolan Carroll was it?
It's not really fair to Alosi. Sure it was a ***** move, but I'm SURE he was told to do it. The coaches made a wall along the sideline; that was by coincidence? It's rather clear that Alosi's a scapegoat here. Stay classy, New York!
Not surprised. In all honesty its probably best for him. He will land a job somewhere else. It will separate him from the incident somewhat, and help battle the embarrassment. Hope he has success, since he seems genuine and sincere in his apologies. As was stated before, he could have very well been the scapegoat, so I wish him the best. Everyone deserves a second chance, even the JESTs.
I'm sure be was instructed on the wall part, but tripping a guy? I highly doubt they told him to do that. sent from my EVO 4G
I'm pretty sure if you really looked into it , he was given a Ca$h sum recently . Enough to tide him over and start over somewere else. Whether its a B.S. Injury Timeout to give players some breathing time, to forming human shields, Its all part of REX Ryans outlook on life. Short cuts and cheating. He has the Morals of a cheap car salesman. NOTHING was sweeter then beating them and then seeing them lose in the AFC championship game. I'm glad they beat the Colts and the Pats becuase it gave the Jets fans hope and they really thought they had it in the bag when they played the Steelers. To see it ripped away brought me imense pleasure. Hopefully we will continue to build through the draft and a new Agreement signed this spring causes the Jets to implode under the Salary Cap. Don't even get me started on Jason Traitor.
Maybe if we actually cheated we'd win something. The Jets had 'trip-gate', The Pats had 'spy-gate', The Bills had 'the twelfth man'.....and we just suck. I don't know why everyone in the AFC East thinks they have to cheat against us, but it seems to work. Frankly I'd welcome this team cheating - it would indicate a little initiative and we could have used some this year. (of course I am being sarcastic. . . . well partially)
I would stop watching the Dolphins after all my life following them if we really cheated. I would stop watching the NFL altogether at that point. Seriously.
I have been a fan since 1971 and have faced mostly disappointments after the late 1980's. It's now 2011. As long as we win, I really could care less, and if we cheated and won I wouldn't feel bad at all. You'll notice that the Patriots who cheated through their superbowl wins sleep pretty well at night.
How much better will you feel when the Dolphins REALLY win the Super Bowl, and you know we did it honestly?
