The QB at USC? Are you kidding me? Truth is his DNA was found. He wasnt found guilty, but he also never ever ever ever denied anything...charges were never brought against him.
1. There are plenty of laws I disagree with. 2. Generally speaking probably not a good idea. If the two parties involved are not breaking any laws though who am I to tell them not to? In your position, having a daughter around that age, I would likely feel as you do, and it would be any dude who came around to see her, 19, 21 or 25. In fact the guys still of college age would likely be worse choices than the one recently graduated. Still, can't blame you one bit if you greet any date your daughter has, while cradling your M12 Winchester riot gun under your arm. Sanchez' girl in the article mentioned though, here we have a 17 yr old sneaking into a club with fake ID. She probably comes from a much more permissive home environment, right or wrong. Or she is just a really good sneak.
You are the RARE minority. Replace "Sanchez" with "Flacco" and you are lucky to get 3 posts on the subject. I signed up here to get some objective analysis on the Dolphins, and for the most part I have. But anything Jet related is completely off the wall, with the exception of a few posters like Alen1.
Right, because the entire locker room is full of great guys all full of integrity and such..... PULEASE!!!!! Such an easy target your entire team is. Like it or not, its a dirty bunch, a dirty group of coaches and very very easy to find fault in much of what happens.
I got a laugh after reading that article. Either way, I'm proud of my boy and won't trade him for the world.
Alleged sexual assault and Now Statsitory rape. (and I believe he was the one that led the call in the locker room over that Mexican journalist that visted ). Poor kid, everyone is just picking on him.................
The jets are scumbags. They follow the lead of their scumbag coach who likes to watch his wife get screwed in "all three holes". What other coach gives opposing fans the bird? You think he's the only coach to be heckled in public? Well, he's the only one with the lack of class to respond with the bird. Then you have winners like Santonio Holmes and Braylon Edwards getting in trouble with the law. Sal Alosi. Inez Sanz. Sanchez's rape charges and booger wiping and hot dog eating antics. I'm sure I left some stuff out, but my point is this: No other team in the history of the league has had more scandals in one season. Why? Because their coach is a classless dirtbag. And we all know that the **** rolls downhill.
The reason it is an issue for some of the illuminati around here is because he plays for the Jets, simple as that.
Then why is it even worth discussing? Damn, I'd hate to think we live in a country where anyone who is accused is guilty forever, whether or not the courts found him guilty.
Actually, if this had been Dan Marino I'd say the same things. As to the "fill all three holes" quote...I never heard the alleged video, but they confirmed it on the Lebatard show. Take that for what it's worth...
Pretty sure the three holes quote was from their profile on a swingers forum. The foot fetish videos were actually pretty tame, all things considered.
Yes, the "three holes" was written on Rex Ryan's swingers personal page. Click the link and the explanation is clear: http://deadspin.com/#!5715741/this-may-or-may-not-be-rex-ryans-wife-making-foot+fetish-videos "want to watch my wife take a big one in all three holes"
Assuming that is their profile. It's not like anyone can't register on a site like that. In any event, what Ryan and his wife do in their own time is of no concern to me. I am concerned about his coaching ability and so far so good. Why his sexual preferences are a concern to anyone is beyond me. He could take it up the chute for all I care. More power to him.
Sanchez is like a lucky dude. Like how fun would it be to like hang out with like teenagers n stuff and like cuddle, watch like Twilight, like listen to Justin Bieber or old school classic rock like Blink 182 or like Nickelback. Like they could go to like the mall together and buy like some like freaky like clothes at like hot topic. Like it would be totally like awesome n stuff! Like ya know?$! Gawd peeples need to quit hatin and not be so jelly{
Yeah. 1-3 vs. the Dolphins with Chad Henne, no AFC East Championships, no AFC Championships, no Superbowl etc... In fact, except for a few lucky breaks, and the ability to snag a wildcard in the playoffs, Ryan's tenure the last 2 years has been an embarrassment... Except that the team he coaches is the Jets, which get embarrassed so often that they don't even care anymore. Now, let's go eat a god damn toe err snack!!!
I'd be thrilled if the Dolphins made it to 2 straight AFC Championship games from a Wild Card berth. Even if we were 1-3, 0-4, whatever, vs the Jets in the process. Sure it is great to beat the Jets, but getting into the playoffs and advancing as far as possible is more important.
You would think that would be the case, but there is some serious Jet/Ryan/Sanchez hatred on this forum. I understand that Ryan is a polarizing figure, especially if you are a fan of a rival team. But to call his tenure an embarrassment? That's just out there. He is a rookie head coach who took over a team with a rookie QB (who most people here think is terrible) and they made the AFCC game in both his years. That's embarrassing? There is no way I expected them to win the division last year with a rookie QB played some terrible games. And they did challenge for a while this year, but it would have taken a 15-1 record (or 14-2, had they beat NE the second time) to win it. And again, with a 2nd year QB. Like I said - I can see other team's fans hating the guy. I would too if he didn't coach the Jets. But to call him a poor coach? Please.
From a fan standpoint I've been hating the Jets since before most of the kids here were born. But there is no sense in spouting hyperbole or being irrational when it comes to discussing them. IMO, Parcells didn't make the best choice when he hired Sparano rather than Ryan. I respect Ryan's ability as a coach, and far as I am concerned, his private life is his private life, just so long as he isn't breaking any laws. And, let us assume for a second that the swingers ad was actually placed by him, and not done as a joke by someone else, I have known some swingers over the years, and they were honest productive members of society, and didn't force their lifestyle on anyone else. IF the Ryans were actually swingers, which I doubt, I would expect them to be the same way. As an old AFL fan, I gotta admit though I was pulling for the Jets to beat the Colts in SB 3 and for KC to beat the Viks in SB 4. KC was probably my 2nd fav AFL team after Miami. I was just thinking the other day, how many starters from their SB 3 team can I still recall from memory, and I bet I could name 3/4s of them without looking it up.
Bickety, you're a good person. I suspect we could even sit in the same bar and watch a Jets/Phins game and not kill each other.
I am sure we could! I generally get along with the majority of the members here, with the exception of a few. And I understand what forum I am on and that is why I don't go on a crusade every time the Jets or their players are bashed. I'd have little time to do anything else! And I rarely comment on the Dolphins unless someone flat out asks me a question. I even supported Henne earlier in the year when people were screaming for his head. But it is what it is and I like this place a hell of a lot better than the few Jets forums I checked out. There are some solid, knowledgeable posters here and for the most part I enjoy their insight.
There is no actual proof that the Ryans created that profile themselves or that it's even them if it is legit. Even if they did, so what?
You missed my point. They don't have anything to show for their run to the AFC Championship games. No flags for their abomination of a new stadium, no trophies. Nothing. Nada. All they get is a worse draft pick and a broken heart, which is fine by me, I love woeful Jets fans. SOJ is one of my favorite acronyms. If it weren't for the Colts laying down in week 17, the Jets wouldn't have even made the playoffs in 09', so thank Jim Caldwell for that, not the masterful coaching of Rex Ryan. So to claim Ryans coaching is the cause of 2 AFC Championship games is absurd, and I'd hope you know that. Although, I will accept Ryan's coaching as a reason for getting destroyed in 2 AFC Championship games, one in which the team came out flat and totally unprepared for a superior Steelers team.
I don't know about anyone else, but I'm just having fun with it. As for it being a "private matter," you don't post videos on youtube if you want to be private. That's like standing on a corner with your junk hanging out and then saying "it's a private matter" when asked about it. Keep it in your pants, jackass. I don't think it makes him a bad person, but you bet your sweet *** any AFCE fan is gunna have a field day with it. If you think the cro-magnons over at theganggreen wouldn't be all OVER this if it was Sparano and his wife, you're crazy.
I was all set to discuss this with you and then I saw At least you admit it. Thanks for saving me the time.
I agree with you, dude....and I know that most of the people here are just busting balls. But then you get a handful of the pious types that stand on their pulpit and preach morality. Those are the ones that make me really laugh. They condemn Ryan for being into feet, but would be the first ones on line to buy a Vick jersey if he ended up on the Dolphins. The amount of hypocrisy on this forum can be staggering at times.
I agree with this. BB and I pretty much disagree about everything. The internet has a way of making that happen. However, he seems like a decent enough guy and he's more likeable than some of the Dolphin's fans around here. lol...
