Make that 2 QB commits. We also landed David Thompson, but there's a good chance he never plays a down since he's projected to be a high 1st round pick in baseball.

 

Yeah, I don't think Thompson is gonna pass up being a 1st round pick in the MLB Draft.

POSSIBLY 2 MORE COMMITMENTS WR JAIME WISLON and LB JATAVIS BROWN, according to there Facebook pages, they committed nothing official yet.

 

I forgot was it was like having junior days(thanks to Randy). They are amazing, this is basically what happens with Texas and their jr. days.

And yeah, Thompson was already committed for baseball but he wanted to go to a school where he could play football too. I doubt he even steps on campus when there is a good chance he is a top 5 pick in the MLB draft.

 

Well that is a shame, I can recall when 's Baseball team won national titles yr after yr and put several players into MLB.

 

If they can somehow land either Bart Houston or Zeke Pike that would be great. I'm glad Brissett and Bridgewater did not sign.

 

Brown is a stud!! Nothing but instincts! He'll need to bulk up some but dude is relentless and was always in the backfield as a junior.

 

Good to know. Can't say I know too much about him or his teammate Wilson.

 

With Kelvin Benjamin gone we will see if Wilson is going to be the next star coming out of Glades. He is touted to be that, and considering that Glades has put out some top Wr's(Santonio Holmes for one), it says enough. He's not the biggest at 6'0' but he's fast enough (supposed 4.45) but he's pretty good at going up for the ball and runs good routes. He needs to learn how to get the YAC though.

He might also make a good Cb...

 

Well, hopefully he becomes a stud, since we can use some stud WR's. I've heard a lot of good things about him. Noticed him on the ESPNU 150 watch list as well. Surprised I haven't heard much about him up until now. Hoping to watch some tape on him and Brown whom I also heard a lot of good things about.

Looks like Shannon turned down the job due to losing alot of his buyout money from UM if he took it.

 

No one is going to pay him enough because he's not worth it.

QB Tom Savage is going to Arizona. Your 2011 Hurricanes QBs are, again, Jacory Harris and Stephen Morris. Tate Forcier will probably compete with Morris and new recruits in 2012.

Yeah man, we both have been around long enough to recall 's baseball team winning national championships a couple of yrs in a row, or close to it.

Those guys are pretty good.
