He is beginning to become a bit err..clingy...imo, I have no problem with a player trying to hand on, however the game is retiring him and apparently he does not realize it.
I agree...then again Chris you know how I feel. I don't think the Dolphins should do a sign & retire for him like Zach. He's forever a traitor in my book. If he goes into the HoF and goes in as a Jet (which if he is back with them and wins a title he will do that IMO) I think some posters here will finally catch on about this guy.
The thing is, I was saying about how he went to the Jets and I couldn't blame him yadda yadda yadda, now the dude is persisting with it, it is like whatever legacy he may have had in Miami he is willing to just thrash it. Hang'em up Taylor, you are making Ireland look better with all of this.
If I must explain it, then there is no reason to bother doing so, as this either bothers, or it does not.
The Dolphin ship is still being run by the same inept regime that ousted him.Its pretty obvious there would be no interest from either party involved.
If by "inept" you mean "ditch formerly marquee player who does not have a starters role on this team but thinks he does" then I'd agree. I made it a point to watch him play in 2010 CT, the man is d-o-n-e, the tank is on "E", liked him as a part time passrushing specialist for a season to coach up Misi and Wake, but other than that, they made the right decision, now he is the Jets headache. Reminds me a bit of Reggie White trying to comeback with the Carolina Panthers.
Taylor is a douchebag. He ruined his legacy here years ago. If he wants to continue to play for the Jets who cares just don't come back to Miami and pretend all is well when your dragged out career has finally hit the end. Why is this even news here?
I tried to tell everyone this before last season but these player fans get that twinkle in their eye and just can't get over it. I said he was "washed up" and I got butchered for it.
Ugh, more or less, by now it is not about the money. But knowing Dolfans..they will, think Saddam Hussein's character from Southpark.."..I love you..."
He wants to hang on because he was a game away from the SB and wants nothing to do with the idiots running this team...... use your heads for something more than a place to put your ball cap And "player fans", KP? How bout player haters like yourself that can't see past some grudge you have.... I could really give a **** about JT now that he's not a Dolphin but your BS got old a long time ago. Give it a rest....
They've been a game away from the SB in back-to-back years. They're his best chance to get a ring, I don't blame him for putting that out there.
This is getting sad. He should just change his middle name to Ed. Selling his Dolphin legace in some fans eyes (me as well) to stick it to Bill Parcells, I hope it's worth it Jason.
Taylor should take a picture of his feet all oiled up and send them to Rex. He would be signed in a half a heart beat. Its getting sad. Starting to sound like a slighted High School sweetheart. She was ditched so when she talks about it she moans he will never take me back, no way. Now when her next boyfriend ditches her she is on facebook saying she would love to have just one more chance, one more time PLEASE YUK
This regime clearly doesn't want JT and he acknowledges it, so I don't see what the vitriol is all about. It's all about a championship and nothing more at this point.
You lost me here. I agree he wants a ring so why not hang on. NY is def his best option so I'd expext him to say that. At the same time, most of his issues seemed like they were with BP, and he's history. I'm not saying Sparano is a genius lol, but I'm very optimistic about what Jeff Ireland's doing. As for JT, he def has done his own share of things for me to not root for him. Obviously. But it's all business **** so you can't really hate the man like he beat your dog. Def agree he's toast though.
Well, if you can't win a ring as a starter and a contributor, why not win it injured sitting on the bench as a cheerleader? Just frikkin retire already.
Well of course he wants to stay there. The Jets are going to win the superbowl next year, didn't you guys hear?
When it's all said and done Jason should just hang it up.Forget about the hurt feelings, the he said she said drama, forget about how he left the first time, the second time. The team he signed with. One day we will forgive him for being such a tool.until then just go away.
This again really? Come on man you would be lying to yourself if you were to think there aren't "player fans" out there that wouldn't want him back in Miami. Even now that he is DONE. As far as calling me a player hater I ***** about as much as the next guy or the guy after that. You see me dumbing up the board with hatred let me know It's a message board full of opinions why should I have to be the one to "give it a rest"
I doubt there'd be that many at this point. The only receptive demographic would be the goofy housewives who watched him on dancing w/the stars. We can't even fill the stadium for home games as it is, I don't see JT puttin more asses in seats. If anything, bringing him back now would probably piss off the majority of the fanbase.
I think people who are not on this board are mostly fans of JT. I would love to have JT back if he provides value. I still believe he could provide value in the Moses role.
And I'd love to give Eva Mendes a David Copperfield, but the likelihood of either happening isn't great.
Jason Taylor is becoming Brett Farve "light". So maybe Jason will text his junk to a female Jet staffer, go to the Vikings for two seasons, then watch his old team that he spent a career with, win the Superbowl.
