http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/7566180?MSNHPHMA Here's part of the article that Wayne Huizienga said about 2 hours ago: " Over the years I have fielded a number of inquiries from individuals interested in investing in the team," said Huizenga, who become sole owner of the Dolphins in 1994. "Most recently, we have had conversations dating back to April, with several similarly interested parties. "My viewpoint, however, has always been the same. I am not actively looking to sell the Miami Dolphins, but I know there will always be individuals who are interested in becoming involved in some capacity in the team's ownership."
I don't know if I buy it or not about what he said, but he spoke and the article came out from the AP about two hours ago.
When you want to sell your business you dont advertise that you want to do so.It will have the effect of lowering your asking price . Rather by the very fact you say that you are not interested you rustle up attention from potential buyers.Hopefully more than one so you can enter into a bidding war. If he doesnt get his price then maybe he will stick around until the team becomes a winner. You will get more for your business if you show a fat bottom line and you are on top-Its just common business sense.
Yup ! Wayne Huizienga is a great businessman ! You can look up his biography on alot of webpages and see how successful he was over the years.
IMO I don't personally know the man. But, I wouldn't doubt anything that's going on at this point. He would never admit it even if he was selling the team or not. It's a business decision and I posted on another thread that Wayne Huizienga is a businessman first and foremost. I look at it as someone who just has grown tired of a business and just wants to sell it and of course, as long as he also makes a profit in the process. Just look at the biography of his life in business.
