Btw, you two ladies that are bidding on Ty Warren... now at $3.4m... I had him on the trade block for SEVERAL weeks and his salary back then? You may ask yourself what that might have been... I'm here to tell you... it was less than $3.4m... FOOLS! NOT ONE OFFER!! You deserve what you are getting!!
and there it is... not sure what your problem is with me alen. I could field a team of 53 all stars and you still wouldn't like my team. Good luck to you sir.
I don't really have a problem with you. I was being honest with you after you decided to single out the "ladies" who were bidding on a specific player. If I came to you for Warren, you would have asked for a high draft pick after telling me how vital he was to your DL and all of that. I'd rather not do that. As for the all-stars, it would probably matter to me what scheme you were running. If you fit the guys into your scheme, I wouldn't have a problem voting for you. You can spin those comments however you wish.
I also don't like trading with you. You over price every single I have ever asked about but I think your a great GM. You usuAlly always end up with the better end of a trade. Like Alen said you probably would have wanted a 3rd or 4th round pick and than told me what a favor you were doing me.
which is ironic because you two usually are the ones that approach me about a player and say, what do you want for him? So, I do the work, name a price (which is obviously higher than the player is worth) because that's what I do. If you don't name a price, I'm going to name a price that is going to be too high, in the hopes that you COUNTER at the price I really wanted all along, but you were too afraid to propose in the first place. That way, you think you're getting a good deal in pulling one over on me when in all actuality, I am the one who is... WINNING! Thanks Charlie... Negotiation... try it... you'll like it
Its easy to write it there but that's not how it works with you. Either way, I don't really care for it since I never work with you anyhow.
he told me olb victor butler was worth nothing more than a 7th round pick. somethin like that. haaaaaaa
i said thats what i got for him last year when he did nothin really. this year after havin a good season as a situational player, a 7th? come on bro.
The truth comes out Paul. Oh and there is no countering with you. I talked with you about 4 dolphin players last year and tried to talk you down and some how I actually think the price went up. I ask you what you want and if it's high I just move along rather than beat my head against the wall trying to talk you down.
GIK overpaid. Situational player... not a starter. Quentin Moses for a 4th? Lucky if you get a 7th. It's okay, I have Antwan Barnes, who is a man beast...
I still can't believe I got Remi Ayodele for $500k and Marcus Spears for $750k. Just grabbed 2 very good starters for my defensive line.
I don't know, Spears hasn't been that good. He's been a disappointment. I'm more surprised that the Browns got Stephen Bowen for like 700k.
500k. And I agree about Spears. That’s why I went after Bowen. Spears in a 4-3 isn’t a bad decision, though. He just needs to be motivated.
Spears has been very solid. Since 2006, he has started every game but 2 (not counting this season, where he got hurt). Still probably a top 10-15 3-4 DE in the league.
Alen seems to be more down on Spears than I am. I think he’s a good pickup for you, it’s just that Bowen is better value.
