I hope they caught that jerk...and when I say 'they' I am referring to a group of the uninjured bicyclists. I can't stand those self righteous morons who think they are so damn special that they deserve to ride in the streets with cars, and refuse to move over, but I would never dream of doing that to them.
How in the world is this even remotely funny? Maybe some of you should consider taking up cycling then we'll see where you stand on these situations. Pretty ****ing shady if you ask me.
It was some kind of pro bicycle rally, the guy had his son in the car, and the bicyclists started to scare the driver by hitting his window. That's what I read, anyway. The motorist turned himself in; claiming he was afraid for his son in the passenger seat. Definitely not a funny situation, but we've just been conditioned by this hilarious picture...
not funny what happened to them, but funny to see. since no one was seriously injured, its just like laughing when someone gets hit in the balls. worst part of this is they have to buy new bikes.
Your line of thinking brings me to this conclusion... "oh this kid brought a gun to school... he fired a few rounds but no one was hurt... no big deal."
Considering I have done RAGBRAI (10,000 cyclists basically riding 80 miles per day for a week through the state of Iowa) and have seen someone get injured because a car hit them when the car was driving rather recklessly... I wouldn't say so. The roads are blocked off specifically for this event and the video appears to have the same (or at least similar) kind of rules. You like to run, right? Consider this, someone speeds by in their car taking out 20-30 people during a 5K, but they don't hurt anyone. I don't think you'd find that very funny... If someone died from this event, it'd be a tragedy... however no one did, so it makes everything no big deal and rather hilarious? It makes zero sense to me...
