Say hi to Danny Amendola and the quiteist 2,000 all purpose yards in NFL history.....700k Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk
If we are talking cheap cbs then Brandon Flowers at 555k merits discussion. Heck, for the price (2.65 mil) my cb tandem of Flowers and Carr is the best in the NFL.
Champ Bailey makes nearly triple the amount of them combined. I'll take one for the team and let you trade me both Flowers and Carr for good ole' Champ.
If Pouncey was so great then why would you trade him after acquiring him? Seems counter intuitive to me.
I didn't plan on trading him, but its just my opinion a 24yr old All Pro as a rookie C, is harder to come by then a solid young CB. If I could take one trade back it wouldn't be either one of those. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk
true But shut down corners are rare and i believe vontae to be one. i like incognito at center so i like it
Is say Haden/Williams is the best CB tandem and it may not be close overall backfield, Pitt is Damn close. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk
Heh, good luck covering Wayne, Moss, Nicks, Cotchery, and Cribbs (and Watson and the newly acquired Tony Gonzalez @ TE) with that.
i like it honestly have not started looking at other teams because the draft will influence alot, but i took a huge risk trading polamalu so i feel like i comp for that loss well. but havent had much time to scout yet
And for the record ill take my chances with the secondary i have assembled...DRC, Routt, Will Allen, Dominique Foxworth, Nate Jones at CB with Kenny Phillips and Nate Allen the starters at safety with their backups being Deon Grant and Tom Zibowski (both of whom could start for a few teams around here)
Oh ... we are adding safeties in now? Brandon Flowers - #1 CB (2010 Pro Bowl Snub) Eric Berry - SS (2010 Pro Bowl) Eric Weddle FS (2010 All Pro) Brandon Carr - #2 CB (Damn good #2) Granted 3 of the 4 were on my roster but that's why I went after Weddle ... I feel like he makes this secondary absolutely elite.
4 of my CB's have been starters for an extended period of time (more then 2 seasons). Two are coming off injuries but have low catch percentages against (allen and foxworth), a number more related to positioning rather then simply quickness. My two starters, Routt and DRC are young and coming to a team with the deepest 7 man DL you may find (Osi, Tuck, JPP, Laws, Tony Brown, Pat Williams, Linval Joseph) which will boost already low completion % against numbers. DRC and Routt also possess top flight speed...go and run a deep route and see if my guys are short on breath
I think your two starters are two field corners playing as boundary corners. I'm saying that based off what you told me your scheme was via AIM. As for the rest, I am not a big fan. That's JMHO. If you are sold, that's all that matters.
didnt mean dawan was as good as troy rather as a result f trading troy my secondary as a whole is stronger
Just remember Pittsburgh has gotten away with average to above average CB's because of the pressure their front 7 creates. Team defense gentleman...and I love V.O's secondary by the way. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk
Spoilers: I don’t like Samuel’s tendency to gamble while on an island in the 3-4. More spoilers: you still escalated Josh Wilson to $7.5 million, so you were willing to pay him more than Samuel.
Feel free to explain to me how 2 Read is different from an even and an odd front. I'll be here for a while and waiting. I wasn't willing to pay him that. I did escalate his salary however.
