Wouldnt mind taking a look at Bowman... we need WR help. Im surprised J Leman didnt go anywhere, been hearing this guy nonstop on sirius nfl. sounded like they were thinking he was going to go mid draft. I definately hope we bring in some receivers though
I'm not surprised that Bowman didn't get drafted, considering his issues. I don't think there's anyway we can get him without exposing the team to charges of hypocrisy though.
Eric Young OT Tennessee, definitely would have been drafted if he hadn't gotten hurt. "Young was again named All-SEC second-team in 2007, despite missing the squad's final six games. He registered 58 knockdowns with 11 touchdown-resulting blocks and was leading conference offensive linemen with an 86.4% grade for blocking consistency prior to his injury. Isn't he the one who wanted to quit football because he had no desire to play it anymore but than didn't?

I wouldn't mind us taking a look at Justin McKinney from K-State. I think he could be a nice pickup for us as a CB / Safety. He's got average tools, but he tackles well and always made plays. I think he'd be a nice signing, even if we just put him on special teams.
http://www.helenair.com/articles/200..._carpenter.txt A kicker Helena's Dan Carpenter signs with Dolphins By Independent Record - 4/27/08 Former University of Montana kicker and Helena native Dan Carpenter has signed a free-agent contract with the Miami Dolphins. Carpenter worked out with the Dolphins assistant special teams coach Steve Hoffman last week in Missoula. He and his agent Ken Staninger have also been contacted by former NFL coach and current Miami Executive Vice President of Football Operations Bill Parcells. “Knowing they wanted me to come there made the decision pretty easy,” said Carpenter. Carpenter is the career leading scorer in Football Championship Series history and was a Walter Camp All-American Selection last season. His parents are Val and Diane Carpenter of Helena.
