It was long assumed that, if/when a lockout started, players from various teams would find a way to organize their own workouts and practices. Omar Kelly of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports that Dolphins players hope to get together for lockout workouts and practices, but that agents are advising them to avoid risking injury. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...ganize-practices-agents-advising-them-not-to/
during any lockout, Rosenhaus should be locked out from any of his players. I'd want my players in top shape. tell them to get the disability insurance, even a big policy, so they don'thave to worry about getting hurt in these practices.
Now you're making too much sense. And it's a good thing you were not involved with the NFL/NFLPA negotiations.
Players get injured in non official capacity they dont' get any money, I don't think. Hes worried about his own pockets, sure, who isn't. The thing is, if you align your pockets with your client's pockets, then the interests are aligned.
Since the NFLPA (supposedly) decertified, they lost all regulatory power over the agents. The agents can do whatever they want.
The agents are doing what the former NFLPA is asking them to do though. It's because their health insurance is no longer available.
