They actually had Darlington on, who didnt mention Ingram. He mentioned we are looking hard for a QB, that we would trade down if a good deal popped up, and that we might take a look at .... Torrey Smith.
Of course we're looking hard for a QB. We lost Pennington and White while only recouping Brandstater. lol.
Torrey Smith...at #15??? Really??? Wow...man, I hope not. Would much, much rather see them trade down out of the spot then make that kind of a pick. I know we need vertical speed, but that just seems like a reach to me. JMHO...
Its a nice change of pace from all the people that seriously think that we might draft a RB that high even though Smith himself is a reach at 15 but I wouldn't mind if we drop back in the 1st and pick him up, the thing that scares me a little bit about Smith is the Darius Heyward Bay comparison
That was actually his second best scenerio was to trade the pick away if nothing fell to them. Torry Smith was a we didn't get anybody that fell to us and we can't trade out.
If we are going to reach at 15 or lower for a speedy WR (assuming Green and Jones are gone), I'd rather take Titus Young.
