Thank you, Captain Obvious. While you were busy prattling on, perhaps you could have read the article: If he wants to stay, then the answer to this question is an unequivocal and immediate “Yes!” His refusal to answer means that, in the given scenario, he would prefer to play elsewhere and the Jets would have to up their contract offer to keep him. To contrast, this is what it looks like when a player wants to stay on his current team:
Whether if we have Holmes or not, whether if we have Edwards or not, I truly believe this team is destined to win a Super Bowl in the upcoming season. We got the defense, we got the running game, and we got a future Pro-Bowl QB at the helm. Not worried at all. Life is good!
Character issues aside, I think Holmes could be the perfect addition to our receiving corps. The fact that he's apparently unhappy playing for NY could also be beneficial. Hopefully, they settle the CBA and he becomes an UFA.
Holmes’ character issues are pretty mild, IMO. JaMarcus Russell he isn’t. The question is whether this FO and owner want to hand out basically $75 million to just two players, Marshall and Holmes. I love me some elite receiver play, but that’s getting more than a little ridiculous. Of course, if the salary cap is permanently abolished…
Fish gotta swim, birds gotta fly and the Jets gotta disappoint. It is the cycle of life get used to it.
Although Holmes had a great season, he is also one mistake away from having a season ban. I want Holmes really bad, but he has to understand that being in New York and playing for Rex is a once in a lifetime opportunity. I would love to see Edwards and Holmes re-signed and let Cromartie walk. Then Sanchez will have one of the two best combo receivers in the game for a long, long time.
Wow!!! playing for Rex is a once in a lifetime opportunity. I'm hoping you you are joking, but if you are not, you need some serious help.
Or he may have the two most troublesome guys, one who just wants his money so he can buy marijuana while the other one looks like a guy on America's Most Wanted list and that goes out, drops footballs (and bottles) and does ******ed things to get in legal trouble.
Why would it be an act? All the players voted and Rex dominated the percentages. Now, the upcoming rookie class voted and again, Rex dominated the percentages. People want to play for Rex. People want to play for New York. It doesn't get better than this.
Cept, ya know, If your Green Bay? or Pittsburgh? or NE? New Orleans? Cause really, the jets are just the new Bills. Getting there and proving you might be able to win the big one means nothing. Winning it is what matters. I know a few Jets fans who are starting to feel like they missed their shot and you know what? They did. The Patriots didn't play their best game against NY in the playoffs this year, that won't happen again. The Steelers didn't play their best game either and they still won. The Colts had 10+ guys on IR this season and they STILL almost beat the Jets. I actually do think the Jets would have beaten the Packers in the Super Bowl but they didn't get that chance. This was the Jets best opportunity. I don't see them getting one like this again. Rex can say hes gonna win the big one every year, and fans like you can eat it up all you want, but that doesn't make it so. I live in PA, ive dealt with Eagles fans who said the same crap about Andy Reid for years.
And we played our best game against Pittsburgh? Are you ****ing kidding me? We were down 24-0 and nearly came back if it wasn't for a couple of bad offensive called plays. Also, we shut down Tom Brady and the entire Pats' offense the entire game. Don't give me that crap. You guys can't tell me NOTHING! I don't listen to anything you guys say. The New York Jets are the best ****ing team in the NFL and the Dolphins suck. End of story. For the next decade, the Dolphins will attempt to find their franchise QB.
Bwaaaahaaaaaahhaaaa haaaa haaaaa haaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GTFOH mang! The Jets are the best Rex is the best We're going to win the Super Bowl last year, the year before and next year..... oooooooooopppppppppppppsssss
We got a QB who has taken HIS team to the AFC Championship not once, but twice in consecutive seasons. Not to mention he already won games @ Cincinnati,@ San Diego, @ Indianapolis, and @ New England in the playoffs. The kid has the 'it' factor and will only get better. The funny thing is Jets fan know Miami fans would LOVE to have Sanchez on their team right now. Mark Sanchez, as stated along time ago, is a Top 10 QB in the National Football League.
That's not a very fair statement to be honest. He's more like Deputy Obvious............. or like Mall Security Guard Obvious. j/k, DR.
How'd you know we plotted to drop a safe on your patella in the middle of the night? Figures------ leave it to a Jets fan to call ahead for the surgery rather than simply not going to bed. Seriously, I wouldn't go to sleep if I were you.
Stop man! Your killing me over here. Everytime I read one of your posts I can't stop laughing! Stop please....
Grammatically speaking, that means we can tell you EVERYTHING..... You know-- double negatives and all (not to be confused with the double negatives that Jet fans are accustomed to: "The baby isn't yours; it's Antonio Cromartie's."..... "My back hurts from trying to walk upright."
.............or our bars on karaoke night. Just sayin----- pretty soon it gets all Sixteen Candles meets Boy George up in there.
that in no way proves its a once in a lifetime opportunity, or even that its a privilege playing for sexy rexy. In fact it has nothing to do with those things. And seeing as how the nfl is a business, I seriously doubt if holmes left and they decided they needed him they wouldn't welcome him with open arms. Again, seriously, is it an act? I'm starting to worry you believe the bull**** that comes out of your mouth.
You should ask them what to do about the boner you constantly walk around with when Revis and Sanchez are on your mind.
I'm starting to think this medical school is pre-med at Monmouth county community college. quick note: never go to New Jersey for medical advice or procedures
I'm pretty sure he means medicinal school. AKA- his buddy down the skreet is teaching him how to grow weed in his closet.
