The spectacle that was 'the Decision' was enough to turn any neutral fan against him. Him referring to himself in the 3rd person might have been the most ridiculous thing I've ever 'witnessed' on television and was certainly enough to solidify him as nothing more than an arrogant, loathesome do*chebag in the minds of a majority of sports fans across the country.

    Its really that simple.

I hope if a series is 2-2 the Heat have enough sense to let someone OTHER than LeFraud take the GW/Tying shot.....I can understand this situation but in a crucial game 5? You give the ball to #3.

There’s the Sixers’ win. That first quarter utterly killed the Heat. Can’t believe they came out that sloppy, especially after all those upsets yesterday.

It's just painfull, its sad when im jealous the Knicks dont have a Chalmers or a Jeff Green. Sadly they would be the 3rd best player on the Knicks EASILY.

You can;t blame the knicks really. They played ONE good game healthy...another one shorthanded..then they rolled out a bunch of stiffs and Amare on a stretcher.

You can't play injured. Knicks mailed in two games, due to injury.

Chalmers just has huge balls and plays hard as hell....but he drives Heat fans insane at times. Jeff Green is trash.

#3 was a disaster int he last minute today.

Want the stats from this year with game winning shots?

    Lebron 1-6.

All world "clutch gene, killer, closer" Kevin Durant.....1-10.

Still think it's not a big deal when the heat lose? Well, you just bought into another media myth pushed by BSPN.

game winning shots are rare. That is all.

The point is that his popularity didn't drop that much league-wide and world-wide. He is still the #1 selling jersey. Most of the criticism seems to come from the fans of snubbed teams, like yourself. Those fans complain about all the other stuff, but all of that would be moot if he had picked their team. So if those other issues are only big deals to those who's teams he snubbed, then it's obvious that they aren't really big deals in and of themselves.

If you think I feel the way I do about LeBron because he didnt choose the Knicks and not the reasons he has given everyone then i dont know what to tell you except your wrong.

LeBron thinks its racism, you guys think its jaded Knicks fans...the only conclusion I can come to is that it MUST be something other than Lebron himself, I mean how could it be him....:pity:

Haberstroh to the rescue AGAIN! Stat Geeks rule.

Game winning shots within 5 seconds...league average is 25.7% FG.

    Lebron's career, he is 19-73 for 26%.

1-8 is bad, Lebron has a reputation for being un-clutch from free throws to big shots. If people want to try and sugar coat it then so be it.

If you dont think Lebron is clutch your likely just a racist jaded Knicks fan.

So why is everyone saying Lebron needs to differ in those situations? Why did Lebron himself apologize to his teammates for not "getting it done" Explain why he would say that if it were not true.

Lebron is a great player isnt that enough? You guys want to defend 1-8??

Lebron isn't blameless, he did somethings that reflected negatively on him, but the fact is that he was still the #1 selling jersey so obviously his popularity hasn't suffered that much. This is not a Heat fan point of view, but rather a reflection of the wider point of view. The Knick fan point of view (along with Cleveland and presumably Chicago and NJ) seems to believe that Lebron's popularity has suffered greatly and that simply isn't so. The main thing that has changed is their opinion of him. If you don't think that's related to your perspective as a Knick fan then I think you're fooling yourself. Especially since you admitted that those other things would have been forgotten if he had chosen the Knicks. That clearly shows that those other things are only really a big deal to those whose team he didn't choose. Everybody else seems to be over it.

Jersey sales are a poor indicator imo, because ofcourse every "lifelong Heat fan" rushed out to buy a James Jersey all the while guys like Kobe have been in LA for years so EVERYONE had one and he still sells jerseys.

    http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=5575810

So unless they only asked Knicks and Bulls fans I think this proves my point. Right or wrong LeBron is disliked by alot of people.

And yes I wouldve turned a blind eye if he was in New York, but I would cheer on Charles Manson if he could help the Knicks defensively so I may not be a great example.

How is that article relevant? I stated that LBJ did some dumb things that reflected badly on him, but in the long term they were minor. That's why an article from September of last year reflects the momentary blip, but fast forward to current day and most everybody is over it. The ones who are still complaining are the fans of the snubbed teams.

And all those jerseys weren't sold in Miami. You need the sales from more than one city to get you to the top of the rankings.
