the question is how much do you believe: someone to compete with Henne.

If you do then Hasslebach, Kolb, McNabb, Orton and Palmer are not options. They would not be brought in to be potential back ups.

IMO you are looking at Free Agents.
    Young
    Leinhart
Alex Smith had the SF playbook given to him so not really an option
Bulger is rumored to be set to Arizona
    Rex Grossman
    Is Brady Quinn a FA?

These guys would be there to "compete" with Henne.

The potential is there for Young if he gets his head on straight. A huge "if"
Leinhart plays scared unclear if coaching or him, lots check downs
Grossman did take a team to super bowl, but IMO the team carried him.
Quinn has worked with our new O-coordinator, so if anyone knows the truth about Brady it is him.

    My Guess its Quinn

Is Dangelo Williams a FA or Restricted FA?

Ugh, Quinn would be the worst option, we would be far better off with someone like Kerry Collins, Quinn's completion percentage, TD to int ratio and game started is just not what we'd need imo.

it totally depends upon the new O-coordinators view of Quinn. He knows his strengths and weaknesses the best.
Im guessing that is the pick.

None at all. Yet, I don't make completely ridiculous statements like "that's not the kind of character risk this team will bring in". Did Incognito give us any reason that he reformed before we took a chance? Nope. I'd thought about ending it with some ridiculous statement like "I rest my case", but the truth is it's not set in stone. The Dolphins might not look at Vince Young. However, their past due diligence into players, even like JaMarcus Russell, lead me to believe they will consider Vince Young and weight the pros and cons and make a decision. To flat out say what you said is again, just not true.

Touche. You're right. I took it as you wanted a guy to compete but ultimately be relegated to the role of the backup. If that's not what you meant than I was wrong there.

Don't laugh, but if Russel has his head screwed on, and loses 30 pds it would not surprise me to see him in TC.
