Locke may have been drafted by a UFL team but according to him he's "not going to that ****."

I say bring in Locke, Devine, Lockette (to compare with Gates), that Center, the FB, Sanzenbacher, Pat Devlin, Harvey, Barnes, Mims, and that weird guy with the lazy eye who hangs around practice behind the bleachers and always smells like Jergen's.

I would be hot on the trail of these guys.

But, I'd take Nic Grigsby over Locke b/c I think Grigsby has great speed and better size (5'11, 202) - his production was down last two years b/c of a couple of injuries (high ankle sprain was one). But, otherwise this kid has potential as a 3rd down back, KR; or ST gunner.

I also think we need more O-linemen and a good RT to compete with Mr. Fat - never have intimidated in my life - at RT.

And, I cannot believe we do not want to shore up the ILB spot. Crowder has to go. Even with Edds coming in, I'd do all I could to sign Mario Harvey and cut Crowder. Let Edds and Harvey and others compete for that ILB spot; save some coin. I could see Harvey being a stellar two down ILB and Edds and excellent 3rd down ILB.

Though I am excited to see the DB we drafted, and want him on the team, I'd have drafted Harvey and Nic Grigsby in the 7th round. That would have had me pumped about this team.

It really is troublesome that the FO seemingly puts so much confidence in Crowder and Carey. Carey is the better of the two, but we at least need serious competition there. Esp. at ILB. It seems to be the MO of this FO - "Let's settle for mediocrity" - and that's about where the team winds up (goes right along with fist pumping field goals).

i would have to believe we'd be VERY interested in Lockette and Fannin since we brought them in for workouts and would not be surprised if we try hard to land both ...

we have shown some interest in both Mims and Devlin .... so possibilties ...

Devine and Hynoski were thrown around a bit during the draft -- so also possibilities

we haven't worked out Herzlich .... but, Herzlich is really worth a shot - could be a steal ....

I've seen you do things with your hands that no QB can do. You deserve a shot.

Greg Cooper, Mims, and Sanzenbacher would be perfect. Sanzenbacher is going to be the next in the Welker/Bess line.

I would not want him on my team then Stitches, that is an entitlement mentality in a player deemed not good enough to be drafted and I would want that nowhere near this team..at all.

    **** him.

It may not have been entitlement, it may have been spoken out of frustration from not being drafted just days prior in the NFL Draft when he had worked so hard (perhaps?) to make that dream come true.

You may very well be right about him having an entitlement mentality, but that's not the 1st place (or even 3rd) I think his mind is when I read it.
