Dwight Howard will be a Laker or a Knick either next year or the year after that. He's going to DEMAND a trade this off-season if they lose this series against Atlanta.
I predict that the Magic have this next game, although I had no idea I'd be so concerned about losing this first series.
I think this season is over. I'm usually a bit more optimistic, but with the way our team has been playing, I just don't see us winning 3 games in a row.
I'm really hoping Dwight stays, they've built the team around him. He loves Orlando and likewise. And if he went to the Lakers, that would make two Orlando franchise centers who refer to themselves as Superman, that left for the L.A.
For Orlando to keep Dwight, they'd have to pull off something huge. Orlando has to stay competitive against the likes of Miami and the big 3 there. Starting to feel like when Shaq left town. I'm hoping Dwight stays and Otis brings in some superior talent. Getting rid of Mickael Petrius and Rashard sucked, but Rashards contract was too big. Hedo isn't the old Hedo and IMO that didn't work out too well for us. Who could the Magic pull in to keep competitive with Miami and challenge them for the Eastern Conference Championship?
I think they should start big, you right they need to make a splash here......they should call the only person that can help them.... Jesus Christ.
Seems wierd, but hey it is being reported, and it does make sense.... http://m.clickorlando.com/wap/news/...015&cid=19239&scid=-1&ith=0&title=Top+Stories
Orlando's two second round picks First up Justin Harper(second pick of round two), the Magic traded two future second round picks to Cleveland for his rights. Another perspective on Justin............. Next up Orlando's 53'rd pick in round two, shooting guard DeAndre Liggins. Another perspective on DeAndre...........
Why is nobody talking about the magic no more? I think that we have a pretty successful season despite all the trade talks around D-12
Where in the world did that beat down come from? Record low score of a game in franchise history. We'll see the Celtics again soon.
The Magic have been beyond sluggish the last several games. I wish the whole Dwight situation would get resolved sooner than later, it's so disruptive to the chemistry of the team. Hopefully Jameer will be back soon. It'd be nice to start another streak by beating Cleveland tonight @ home for two wins in a row. Not sure how Glen Davis getting suspended by the team today for two games will affect that.
Wow, we won 102-94 against Cleveland, that's two in a row. Tomorrow night is against the Pacers in Indiana.
That's 3 in a row with a win tonight against the Pacers in Indy. It wasn't pretty but I'll take it, it was just the Pacers 2nd loss at home. Monday night the L.A. Clippers come to Orlando.
It was a close game that went into OT, losing 107-102 to L.A. The Clippers got a couple steals at the end of regulation and overtime that helped them a lot. We've got to work on rebounds. Still, it was a pretty good game against a top Western Conference team. Next up are the Miami Heat in town Wednesday night.
If they could keep LA off the offensive glass then Orlando would have won. Dwight should be more pissed at himself for not getting those defensive rebounds. I'm ok with the J-rich last second attempt. It was in and out. Same goes for Jameers last shot in regulation. Both were good looks and both were in and out.
So how do you other Magic fans think we'll do against the Heat tomorrow night? In state games are always awesome. I think we'll surprise a lot of people tomorrow night, we've been improving as a team the last couple games. Not as much as I'd like, but it's a process. Last night wasn't a win, but I'd like to think that it helped the team gel a bit to get ready for the Heat. We'll see. Let's go Magic!
I think the whole D12 thing is leaving the team in a kind of limbo. "Should we even try to play? Our star center wants to leave, and doesn't have the best relationship with our coach." I want that to get straightened out, I'm tired of being in limbo with it. Reminds me of that Clash song, "Should I Stay or Should I Go...."
Did you see how easy it was for Chris Paul to penetrate last night? Now imagine Lebron and Wade doing that all night, with strong finishes and getting foul calls. We're screwed.
Wow, we beat the Miami Heat! Section was right. Nice win last night against a great team. Still kicking myself that I wasn't able to watch it.
Their legs were gone and it effected their rebounding, and when you can't rebound vs. the Magic, you are doomed.
They were okay on that front. it was the rebounding that killed them. When fatigue gets you, you can stay afloat with defense and rebounding. Both left them at halftime. The Heat is just pedestrian on the 2nd of a B2B. They are now 4-4 on the second of a back to back. So with no rest, they are 4-4, with 1 day rest, they are 15-3. Great betting angle.
