Per rotoworld. Well, this comes up from time to time however Ireland speaking of adding a Vet would seem to mean Thiggy's days in Miami are numbered and he leaves as a FA or via Trade. The Bills make the most sense, but would you want a player, or a draft choice for him? We have a 2nd rd tender on him, but he is a 4th rd pick or so in value imho, the Bills figure to peddle: -Roscoe Parrish -Lee Evans -Aaron Maybin -Leodis McKelvin 3 large contracts and one mostly KR/PR type.
I'd take the 4th rounder, depending on how we do in FA. If we end up with age and/or injury questions, I would keep Thiggy.
No way anyone would pony up for him with all of the other QBs that could be had. If by chance they would deal for him I'd do it in a heartbeat. I still can't get that Deer in the Headlights look he had in that Monday Night massacre out of my head.
Thigpen plays a lot like Fitzpatrick. They throw without care. He suits them. That said, hell no. If you can get similar value, trade him out of the division. If not, I say you keep him on the payroll. Unless you like your Defense.
Yeah, but you said the same thing about your entire family. To be fair, there's not a lot you wouldn't trade for an hour with a hooker and a bottle of Jack Daniels.
The reason he is often connected to the Bills in a trade is because he did fairly well in Gailey's system in KC.
I would definitely trade Thigpen if I could. If it was to Buffalo, I might try to make it a conditional pick just b/c I could see him getting some playing time and putting up some stats with Gailey.
I can just see it now. Thigpen in a Bills uniform, nothing more than mediocre against the rest of the league but lighting it up against the Dolphins. And,I wouldnt mind keeping him,for now at least.
I hold zero value in Thiggy ..... and have no issue trading within the division either. If he was able to come back and haunt us -- then we deserve it, as he is terrible and offers nothing but average mobility. The JILLS can have him ....
