    Well away from here
Took my son today, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by how much better this film is than the others. Still had a few cheesy scenes in it, but much, much better film. This should have been the first film instead of the third in the series.

Yeah I'd put it above the second one for sure, not sure about the first one. Was a fun time all around though and surprisingly I never got bored despite the long run time.

Glad they improved the fight scenes etc., much better in each movie, just that the plot was tied in much better.

    It was a good movie.

And they finally made Prime the way he should be.

I saw it today and thought it was a really bad movie. I thought the story was poor and too long. I thought most of the humor was flat or forced. As I looked around during the movie (a bad sign) I noticed people looking down at phones or watches to check the time. There were some very good action sequences, but that was about it. I heard the visuals were being compared to Avatar, but I don't see the comparison. In Avatar I was slack jawed. In Transformers 3 I was watching people check the time. I do think it was better than the 2nd one but that is a really low bar. More appropriately, I would say it was not as bad as the second one. I would rate it about with the 1st one. There were more impressive action scenes but the story was worse.

Didn't like Avatar personally, but watched T3 today. It was alright. Mindnumbingly fun, that's all it is. I wish the girl they used to replace Megan Fox looked better (she was sexy but her face is funny looking), some parts ran too long, didn't feel smoothly ran but those are the Michael bay films right? 20 climaxes with slow scenes mixed in between. It is what it is. I liked the Rock the best out of Bay films but I think that was 70% Sean Connery.
