For anybody who has Netflix, you can now stream the entire Rock DVD set, matches included. It popped up in my suggestions set, I have the DVDs but I checked it out and you can stream all 6+ hours that are on the disc. I don't know if there are any others available right now. It doesn't come up when you search WWE for some reason so there could be other ones like it.

I don't think there are any other WWE DVDs available on Netflix that let's you view the matches. All of the WWE DVDs available are documentaries (on the DVDs the matches are considered extras). I know the website 411mania.com usually posts a list of the wrestling themed DVDs available via Netflix each week. The WWE hasn't added anything but the new D-X DVD recently but I haven't had time to watch it so that might include matches as well.

Two wrestling DVDs that are available that I strongly recommend would be "Wrestling with Shadows" and "Beyond the Mat" for those of you that haven't heard of either "Wrestling with Shadows" is a Bret Hart doc that is filmed during 1997 and features the days leading up to the Survivor Series and Bret getting screwed match while "Beyond the Mat" was a doc that was in the movies around 2000 or 2001 which just shows various wrestlers (including Jake Roberts and Mick Foley) as well as a bunch of indy wrestlers and just talks about the business and being on the road trying to make it to the WWF. Both are great, check them out.

EDIT: The new DX dvd has matches on it too since its not a doc.

CM Punk's promos to open and close the show was great. Everything else just sucked like usual. Hopefully the WWE has already resigned Punk (and started production on new WWE ice cream bars). It would be great to see Punk with a new stable of wrestlers such as Colt maybe even MVP, Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas (you know guys that can actually wrestle). But that's more of a pipe dream. I do hope Punk beats Cena for the title and then it would be great (but never would happen) if the winner of the RAW MiTB match challenges Punk and loses and then Vince forces the Smackdown MiTB winner to challenge Punk and lose so Punk ends up with the title and beating 3 guys in one night.

What would be cool is for punk to win and be walking up the ramp and is almost behind the curtain when he gets clothlined and it jericho who picks up the belt and hands it back to mcmahon and tells him you owe me one. and then the have a tournament for the title, Del rio just doesn't excite me as a champion and that's probaly what is going to happen this weekend if meltzer is correct.

Jericho is suppose to be in Europe this weekend on tour with his band, his last show is the same night as the PPV so I don't think he'll be showing up. I agree Del Rio doesn't excite me as World Champion either but the WWE is pretty high on the guy and he's the only one on the RAW roster that Cena hasn't feuded with yet.

Great PPV. smackdown mitb sucked...Idk what happened to sincara but was looking forward to see him in this match. Raws was real good...had some botch spots but good. Glad Christian won the title. I think he showed he can hang with Orton. And punk winning was great and glad they made him win.

Congrats to the WWE for not screwing that up. Didn't watch the PPV but from what I heard Chicago was insane tonight for Punk. Should be a very interesting RAW if Punk shows up.

I can confirm that it was. The main event had a ton of botches but the story and the hot crowed overpowered the mistakes.

As for Christian winning, he won because he got kicked in the nuts. I thought they would be a little more creative on how Orton gets disqualified but nope. Great PPV though

I didn't see the match but yeah it sounds like that was the finish that was planned. Mysterio has lost a bunch of matches by having his mask pulled off and it actually makes a nice little mini storyline about whether his mask is worth the risk of losing a big match if the WWE wants to go down that route. Or they can have Del Rio feud with Mysterio with Mysterio putting his mask on the line for a shot at the briefcase. The WWE would be dumb to ever unmask Mysterio though just look what happened to him when WCW did, he lost all of his, ummm, mysterio.

Rumors going around that Sin Cara failed the Wellness Program but I have no clue if it's true or not.

CM Punk tweeted a picture of the WWE Title in his refrigerator last night. I really hope they finally get rid of that stupid spinner belt now.

Sin Cara has been suspended for violating the Wellness Policy.

Punk went over HUGE last night. That crowd was in an absolute frenzy. Kudos to the WWE for allowing the natural course of action to play out. Punk is WWE Champion. Christian is World Heavyweight Champion, ADR is the #1 Contender, as is Daniel Bryan.

It is like bizarro world over there right now, and I couldn't be happier. We will see where this goes, but I would be somewhat disappointed if Punk is on air tonight. It would be great to see McMahon losing his mind throughout the night over this, firing wrestlers and generally being a prick to everyone and he tries to figure out a way to get his title back. Start airing Punk vignette's next week and go from there. I would also accept a tournament to crown a new champ as it could lead to an amazing feud with Punk down the road.

Fabulous show that was dripping with smarkdom throughout it.

Hopefully Sin Cara uses his time off to work on not being a 'walking botch spot'.

Maybe with the results last night the WWE is finally getting away from the no talent muscle men and going towards the smaller good in ring skilled wrestlers (ala how they were forced to do that in the mid 90s with the steroid trials). After all the product they have now is stale and boring might as well try something new.

The funniest thing I saw about Sin Cara was somebody tell everyone to give him a break since he was sick with "botchulism."

Interesting theory going around and not sure if it is true but...Colt Cabana has stopped bookings on indy shows. Claudio Castagnoli and Chris Hero appear to be under contract with the WWE now (look them up from ROH). Could we be seeing the start of a pseudo "indy kings" faction?

Also, I think we need to give HHH some credit here. Since he has moved into the talent evaluation side of the business, a renewed effort to find TALENTED workers has occured. I don't think it is a secret that this surge in indy worker signings (over muscled up model, fratboy types) has coincided with HHH's time in the front office. Dude seems to be doing things the right way (Sin Cara aside). Jon Moxley made his debut in FCW. If/when he is allowed to cut promos the way he can, he is going ot be a BIG star for the WWE. He may be better than Punk in that department.

Oh, and has anyone seen Taker and his new "look"? If the photo is true, he has apparently shaved his head. It looks odd, to say the least.

I really thought that Cabana was going to get involved in the match last night when it was Tweeted he was sitting front row. I think I may have pitched the angle about Punk starting up a group of guys that can just wrestle (I think I included Cabana, MVP, Benjamin, Haas and possibly Kaval in it). It will be extremely interesting to see if that's where it's headed.

Never really thought about Triple H being the one involved in 'wrestlers' being signed instead of bodybuilding types that usually get the contracts but if he is it's a smart move. I think people would rather see smaller guys put on good entertaining matches instead of muscle heads punching and kicking and in between using headlocks for 10 minutes.

I saw the picture of The Undertaker and honestly it looks like he's sick with some form of cancer. I hope I'm wrong there but he looks like crap. I can't see how the WWE can or would put him on TV looking like that.

  21. Samphin

Samphin Κακό σκυλί ψόφο δεν έχει

Taker is pushing 50 and his hairline was quickly running awya from his face, so maybe cutting it off was the right move, but it definitely aged him considerably. My guess is he is off TV until the WM build to 20-0. That would give him at least SOME time to grow some hair out. I don't think he is sick, I just think he is old, and probably isn't lifitng a shard as he used too, so he has shrunk down a lot. That combined with the baldness makes him look bad.

HHH is a student of the game so it doesn't surprise me that he is involved.

What is the Wellness Policy and how did Sin Cara violate it?

I'm stoked to hear that Christian and Punk won titles. Maybe Vince finally is getting it. The fans want performance over a look any day.

Wellness Policy is what the WWE calls their drug testing. No clue what he failed for but it's either PEDs or drugs.

Word is that it is PEDs, and it happened back in June. He will take a break after being written out last night (broken ribs). Punk is at the Cubs game tonight so he will not be on Raw it appears.

Also, Cena has been "fired" so I assume he won't be on tv tonight either.

I thought the beginning and close to RAW was very good. Having Triple H back and in a different role, for him anyway, isn't a terrible idea and could help RAW out a bit. And they handled bringing Cena back pretty well too.

I thought it was also smart pushin the WWE Title match to next week to try and get a better rating as everyone was going to be watching RAW last night anyway.

I wonder if the WWE is going to have a slow build of Punk vs. Triple H for WM or sooner perhaps like at Survivor Series, although I'd love to see Punk vs. Stone Cold at WM which has been rumored for awhile.

Also Bill Simmons announced that CM Punk will be on his Podcast this week. I'm looking forward to it as Bill's podcasts with Shawn Michaels and The Miz were pretty good.

I honestly fell asleep during Raw last night. They didn't do anything wrong persay....but I wasn't into it either. The tourney is a good move that gives Punk a built in feud whenever he returns. And it gives them an excuse to change out of that belt, finally.

It would have been nice to se emore star power involved with it though. Outside of Misterio, Miz and Del Rio, no one looked like an actual threat to win it all, which is sad for your top belt. Perhaps a smackdown guy or two to fill in the spots, or announce a tourney this week and bring in a few outsiders for one off matches, just to show how important it really is.

Plus the actual wrestling last night was meh. But as i said, they didn't do anything wrong. Writing Vince off of television is a good move, if it sticks. We have been there before so I am hesitant to think we won't see him again, and possibly soon.

Although, I DO find it interesting that HHH is now the one running the show, which is almost exactly what I called out after the Punk promo. Just happened in a different capacity. I really hope he gets rid of the Raw GM (which wasn't used at all last night I don't think) and then starts working on helping the mid-card get over.

By all accounts Zack Ryder is popular backstage with the other wrestlers. Cena posted on Twitter saying Ryder should get TV time. I really don't understand why he isn't getting it, he's gotten over a million youtube views and his t-shirts are good sellers too. Makes no sense.

The Ryder thing is almost an inside joke now. But the WWE has never liked when their wrestlers get over on their own without the big machine being responsible for it. I almost think tha tRyder would be better off of TV since, his character as a while is a joke. From the tights, to the hair, to the catchphrase. The casual fan wouldn't buy into him. Nothing wrong with being the internet darling. Nonetheless, he will get on eventually.

Also, I was thinking today, could McMahon being "removed" from power lead to him aligning with Punk as the former chairmen and ousted champion team up to fight the machine? I simply just cant see Vince walking away like that.

Not sure how he can get a bigger following if they don't put him on TV though. They're throwing money away by refusing to use him. He's more over than just about every guy on the active roster (minus the usual suspects etc). I mean they're using Mark Henry as top challenger for the Smackdown title for the 100th time, continue to push Sheamus and Ziggler when they're not over. They have nothing to lose but you're right I bet he's not a favorite backstage to the powers that be and the WWE is being stubborn because he's getting over on his own and not with their help.

Well John Cena started out as a Vanilla Ice type joke character but you're right he's going to have to distance himself form his gimmick and evolve once he starts getting more popular as the Jersey Shore gimmick will get old fast. But it's all about getting a shot and seeing if he runs with it.

Personally I hope McMahon stays out of it. Let Triple H 'run' the company for awhile, have Punk come back because Triple H promised changes etc. Because once McMahon comes back it stops being about Punk and becomes a Triple H vs. McMahon thing instead.
