You ever have to get ACL replacement? It's feeling a little better every day, supposedly the meniscus repair is going to slow my rehab more than anything though.
Eff the meniscus. You don't need it. I never got mine repaired and I am fine...nevermind the grinding noise that occurs when you walk.
I've dislocated both knees several times. I've shattered my tibia up into my knee and had to have cadaver bone and metal plates and screws put in to fix it. I've torn and sprained ligaments but haven't got proper medical treatment because I can't get health insurance. My right knee makes loud crunching sounds with every movement. I have very little lateral support in either knee. It totally sucks, but I've learned to live with it. I've found ways to still be active without risking further injury or severe pain. That's one reason I've taken up cycling and like it so much.
They played that at the show I went to. It was an acoustic full band performance. I'm trying to save as many songs for the album as I can so I hadn't heard Taking on the World Today yet, but they played it. It was really good live, the last minute and a half was amazing.
I've had my left ACL replaced with what is referred to as a "Hamstring Tendon Graft". Also had a small tear in the menisus of same knee.

Another work week. I have had about enough of this negative reinforcement **** storm of a job. I can't wait to be in South Florida for vacation in a couple of weeks. Anyways, how was everyones weekend? I climbed a ****ing mountain on Saturday, then got drunk as a hobo one of the nights (dont remember which) and then I made amazing cream cheese and jalepeno stuffed burgers on the grill last night (cheat day) I now weigh 205 pounds. 12 more pounds and I have dropped 100 total. woot!
Hell of a job, man. That takes a lot of discipline to lose that much weight. I remember losing 35 pounds between freshman and junior year of High School and that took a lot of work and drug use.
That's the way to do it. Everyone reaches the threshold where they know something needs to be done but not everyone does anything about it. It's tough to stick to healthy routines.
Anyone know how I could get a cheap flight from Minneapolis to Chicago today? Don't airlines reduce tickets the day of flights to fill them?
