We can afford Nnamdi. However, we're probably not going to be able to sign most of our free agents. We offered Holmes a contract. Waiting for him to respond as we speak.
Hopefully it happens. Should be fun seeing Jets fans reactions when they lose every game 6-3 with some of the worst offensive performances you'll ever see. Having a bottom 5 offense and top 5 defense won't get the Jets, or any team for that matter, anywhere

This they just signed the most important piece to their team, they should sign Breaston, and let Edwards go......Edwards=Breaston and for less money and headaches...
if these two ended up on the same team, one of them will be exposed. Part of the lore of these two CBs is that most teams don't throw their way. With both of them on the same team, opposing offenses would be forced to fully attack one of them. We've seen both of them get beat before, imagine if teams planned to go at one of them instead of clearly attacking the other lesser corner instead? They'll still be great but i have a feeling one of them would lose their "elite cb" status as the season went on.

They'll have the best pass defense in the league. But...as of now Patrick Turner is their #2 WR and no more Brad Smith, right? I'm a little behind, so I might be wrong. Who can they afford to sign to help that? And didn't Jason Taylor lead the team in sacks last year? They'll have to really try and find some cheap unproven player to try and get sacks. Dolphins did it with Wake, but that seems like a tough thing to do. By the way, I think the Jets really went in hard after Patriots signed OchoCinco.
Well at least Turner will get some practice. Revis on Turner during training camp doesn't even seem fair.
Cromartie could leave...but I think Jets sign him. It's been a wild FA though, 49ers could look to him. And no one really saw the Eagles coming for Asomugha, so who knows what'll happen.
