So ive been reading some tweets and comments regarding Daniel Thomas's pass blocking technique, and some people were already starting to go there if you know what I mean.. So I texted his coach this.. ''I know Daniel didn't pass block much in college, but do you think he's a liability back there in pass protection?..'' 3 hours later he texted me back this.. ''No, he did block in our pass protections ! He is more than capable!!!.'' Thats correct he did use 4 exclamation points..
lol. Good news, Deej. How did you hunt down this guys phone number to text him? Do you stalk our staff? If he can passs block, it REALLY adds to the OC's ability to call unpredictable plays! That's HUGE.
dj, good news for sure .... pass blocking usually is the toughest lesson to learn for rookie RBs ..... i can't remember how good or bad Hilliard was in reads and pass blocking - but that would be a reason to go out and get a veteran out of the lot to bring in and teach, coach, mentor DT. Not that Bush can't help there .... just believe we will bring in someone else during camp.

lol..I think its called the ''leather Parrott'', you will often find Todd and Mr C there doing some promoting.. I explained this to Mr C the other night but apparently ya'll don't read your sh^# round here.. VT, I got some good contacts in the big 12 and the pac 12...some position coaches..mutual friends..players that use to play for Bill snyder and our now coaches.
