Ok maybe not. But does this off-season feel like the Dolphin's organization is PURPOSELY dismantling this team and replacing it with a team not as good? As if trying to get that number 1 pick? But hey as long as they get rid of Jeff Ireland and Tony Sparano at the same time I am all for it! I feel they are not even trying for ANY free agents and the ones they get are the ones that hurt not help the team.

No, I don't care about Orton too much. Its moreorless what they haven't done. From years past to now. If we are talking QBs I would rather have drafted a QB. I would have liked to have signed another RB to compliment Reggie Bush to be honest. I just can't see a rookie running back and Reggie Bush at least bring back Ricky, right? Our defense isn't half bad but there is always room for upgrades in every position correct?
LoL oh yea, I mean I am optimistic about the Fins but when you see the other teams in your division making moves and your not and you have JETs friends and NE friends and hear about it all the time, it kind of gets to you and drives down your optimistism.

This reminds me of last season when we cut Charles Grant and other name that escapes me at DT. Everyone said the D would suck and it was the end of the world blah.... blah..... blah and it turned out just fine. The young defense improved.
This is what hits home with me. I don't by any means think the FO has intentionally made the team worse, but I feel like they could have done more to upgrade certain positions and failed to do so. That is what bothers me.

First let me start by saying welcome to the forum. Second, if you start a thread around here your probably going to get bashed by a few people, dont take it personal. Now to address your post. I dont see dismatling as the right word that you were looking for. As far as QB, we may have missed on a QB or two in the past few year, but we also got some solid players while other teams missed on a lot more than 1 or 2 QB's. The Colts drafted Peyton Manning and it didn't help them until they put a team around him. We are just getting the team first it seems, which may be a backwards way of doing things, but then I could bring up guys like Joey Harrington and David Carr that were taken by terrible teams and beat up so bad that it destroyed their careers. As far as runningbacks go, I think we are going to look like a different running team this year. I dont expect us to have the same smashmouth running style that we have seen from the Dolphins in years past, lets be honest, we dont have the personel for it. What we do have a RB now is speed and vision, so hopefully we see some more stretch running plays, some OL pulling out and getting their hands in the second level. We also have backs now that we can split out with Bush, Thomas, and most people dont know but Kory Sheets has great hands as well. Lastly there is room for improvement at every position, and if we were more like Tampa Bay and had tons of cap room I would be much more upset about the lack of our signing people, but we really just dont have the money to sign all these big aquisitions. I really respect that the FO did this offseason, we got some solid guys that upgrade positions without really breaking the bank for them. We brought in some vets on a young team which I believe was really needed. I haven't really minded this offseason.
Dude I am not a crazy new poster, just shouldn't have written conspiracy theory (that was a joke) that not to many people seem to get over the computer. What you should be getting worked up over is the lack of attention to the free agency market and not a minor Poster such as myself.

Dismantling the team? How in the world have we dismantled the team? How did this team even get worse from last year?
Ireland and Sparano are playing for jobs. ESPECIALLY if Cowher wants to coach again. Don't think they'd purposefully dismantle a team when they want their jobs. While I think they need another Running Back, because you can never have enough good ones, there's still time to sign Ricky. Miller was never gonna happen because of his price tag. And the defense SHOULD be better. (Not guaranteed-last off-season many people thought the offense would be better and it wasn't.) But I expect the Dolphins defense to be in the Top 3.
Pouncey starts. Thomas starts. Automatically. We've replaced Crowder. Dotson didn't play. We've replaced Ronnie, and if Ricky's gone we've replaced him already. The lower round rookies are just extra riches. Your point is moot.
First and foremost I would NEVER disgrace the Noles and I am not trolling. I skipped over the question because I missed it, simple. I have tried to answer everyone back as you can clearly see. I feel they are dismantling the Fins, by the means of not signing former players and not adding new players on the market that are better then our current roster but I was shown by another person on this forum that that was not the case that infact we only lost a few key role players such as Ronnie Brown, Ricky Williams etc. Also the words dismantle, and Conspiracy have now been taken out of my vocabulary since they make a lot Fin fans seem like Jet Fans and throw hissy fits lol. Grow a pair.
