Not if they saw tape of his games last year. He finally began to show his age and look like a broken and battered old man. It was like he aged 5 years from 2009 IMO.
If they let fan reaction decide how strongly they pursue Favre, they all deserve to be fired immediately.
I was irked when I heard it, now I think it's funny, it would set us back even more, but i'd probably have much more fun watching the dolphins with Farve then I will when they start Matt Moore or Pat Devlin by week 6 or 7
Even if we signed Favre tomorrow, I honestly do not believe he would be better this season than Henne.
Her goal is to be a great tennis player, not our masturbatory fantasy. I read she shot up the rankings about 40 spots the season after the boob reduction.
Yeah, she gets better and whatnot. Who cares? What about the legion of horny teenage boys and lonely men out there, huh? That's one less female tennis player they can masturbate to. Is this woman's heart made of stone? You tell me.
I don't believe it and won't until Farve is actually seen a the Dolphins facility. If sparano was asked if Bo Jackson is out of the question he would say the same thing. Just a nice way to bail on the question.
If...again IF Favre were to come here (I don't think he will BTW) it would be as a back-up/ mentor role. I for one see nothing wrong with that. He could definitely teach Henne how to be a leader and how to gain his teammates respect. Now, of course Favre's retiring/ un-retiring has most likely tarnished his reputation among most fans, but I guarantee you that most players look at him as a person who loves the game and they still respect him. I see nothing wrong with a person retiring and then coming back as many times as he wants. Who the **** cares? It's his life, his career and his choice.
The way to bail on the question is to say "No". Then there is no story. Armando is a complete idiot when he says this is the way the Dolphins are, they never rule anything out. They most certainly do. A few days ago Tonyw as specifically asked about Braylon Edwards and he said "We're not interested, we like the receivers we have" And not a word about Braylon Edwards since. Either Tony is a complete moron (which is possible) or the Fins actually did or are considering it.
Except you said he hadn't filed retirement papers and in fact he did. The previous offseasons he didn't file them.
I still got Serena. Just watching her out there moving around the court, in her skimpy outfits, that fine @ss and them big ol' titties, beads of sweat on her chocolate skin, doing the splits trying to reach the ball, well MC Jr gets a chubby.
Team Official - We're not interested!! http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...e-sparanos-hint-fins-not-interested-in-favre/
Speaking of Serena, does anybody know if she can play right tackle? She's built more like a guard, but she seems versatile enough to play any position on the OL.
Nabo How you gonna say that when you don't even know if its true bro? which in all probability it isn't.
Sparano needs to be a lot more media savvy than this, "We won't rule anyone out." Really? Farve isn't a serious option and if he is then I do not understand why we keep playing games with Henne. If this is how the front office feels then why did we not go all in on draft day or get a guy like Orton?
Read the profootballtalk.com article. The media gag this team has stinks. That's one of the very few things I enjoyed about the brief Cam Cameron period. It's was very transparent what the Miami Dolphins were doing/thinking.
Shutdown Corner has a funny take on the whole mess; nonetheless, they place the blame for the controversy squarely on Tony Sparano.
Not sure if anyone shared this yet but here ya go: http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/1744/brett-favre
then it sounds like a serious consideration to me if Brett Favre feels up to the challenge & the price is right why not? nothing ventured, nothing gained
