First off, im quite let down how they practiced mostly on the far side of the field. Only some defensive drills and all special teams on the near field. Maybe punishment for the fans? Crowd was hilarious tonight. At times chanting "We Want Henne" cuz we simply just wanted some action in front of us. Also started cheering every time brandon fields punted the ball cuz thats basically all we saw up close. Anyhow, there were a few things i spotted tonight Reggie Bush- wearing number 22 Kory Sheets- took number 23 Clyde Gates- number 10 (next DeSean Jackson) more about him later Kevin Burnett- has a very solid frame with a sick lookin visor. Good penetration, definitely an upgrade over Crowder Julius Pruitt- made a lot of plays on jump balls and has decent speed Clyde Gates- seriously trackstar speed, burned Sean Smith and Will Allen multiple times on streaks, good hands Reggie Bush- nasty cuts and made a hell of a catch on a wheel route Daniel Thomas- excellent vision and good cuts. broke one for a long run on 11 on 11 Henne- looked decent tonight. couple balls got away from him but for the most part, was pretty accurate. good fade throws Brian Hartline- excellent hands, made a few diving catches
*Chad Henne- looked decent tonight. couple balls got away from him but for the most part, was pretty accurate. good fade throws*
Thanks! Love getting first hand info! Great news about Gates. If he works out it opens our offense up BIG TIME! nice to hear henne picking up steam! Maybe we need to hurt his feelings more often.
Hopefully we can get this Offense installed quickly and in time to not make arses of ourselves in Preseason. We have the tools. We just need to put them together into the Six Million Dollar Team.
Sleeper of the day- CB Jose Perez has OUTSTANDING hands but dont know about his coverage skills Jimmy Wilson also played well. Definitely has a nose for the ball
Nah for some reason all the action has been on the other side for whatever reason. Second practice was on the far field. I remember a few practices last year with them on the far side. I dont know why they do it... but they do.
Dolphins Bandits started "Let's Go Henne!" Chants. They are under contract with the Miami Dolphins, so technically, team could of told them to do it, just saying
Source of what? Couple of people tweetet that Bandits were the ones who started the chant + I had few people text me. The fact that Bandits under contract? No source for you to see, but that's a fact. To be clear, my comment was tongue-in-cheek. I don't actually think the Dolphins ordered Bandits to start a pro-Henne chant.
Yes and No. Those two, are under contract, even tho I definitely wouldnt call them fake. Technically, I am contract as well because I signed a waiver that states if I act like a jackass, drunk, or just plain stupid, I will (just like everybody else) get booted out of the Deep End section. That doesn't make me any less of a fan though.
I am as well. But nobody pays me to dress up like a clown and be seen as some type of "superfan" on TV every week. That's weak. embarrassing.
They painted up and did what they did before anybody was paying them to do it. From what I understand it's about appearances and promotions, IMO. I dressed up and painted my face and yelled at screamed at Games before I was in the Deep End, I am at the Deep End BECAUSE I dressed up and cheered.
If they're under contract and getting paid and Big Papa Pump isn't I'm gonna have to make some angry phone calls.
seriously. When I see those two dudes..the first thought that goes through my head is "Look at those douchebags". When I see Big Poppa Pump start dancing...it gets me going a bit. My section appreciates it as well. This is a sentiment that is shared by a ton of Dolphin fans I know that go to the games.
Tony said that, if Gates and Clay keep it up, they're going to see a lot of playing time this season. It would be awesome if they could both contribute as those are two of the biggest holes on offense and really make us a much more dynamic unite. Ben Volin was impressed with Henne tonight.
Practicing on the far field wasn't punishment. That's what they've been doing. It's a joke. When I went to Bucs camp they did 10x more than the Dolphins do to make watching training camp practice a better experience for the fan. And the Dolphins wonder why they get booed.
I thought it was the QB? Now it's the fan experience? Sliding down the slope bro. I hope that's a joke.
I don't think anyone would be complaining about half this stuff if we had a good QB. Nobody gives a **** if you practice in the woods if they think you'll make the playoffs.
There are a lot of hands in that basket. But in reality, failing to acquire and develop a franchise QB in 3 years isn't very uncommon. JMO. Of course, people certainly have the right to feel that not getting a QB warrants boo's. I encourage them to express their opinion. But jumping on things like practicing on the far field is a bit silly IMO.
