Get injured where players were being shifted around on the line to piece meal a somewhat functional offensive line.

Damn if your from the school that believes in a solid foundation OL then build the friggin think...Going into the 4th year and still dicking around with the OL. Lucky we took the 1st pick on Long or we'd be in even worse shape...At this stage forget the players, we are going NO WHERE until we get a FO that has a clue about the critical need for a good Offense.
To bad because the defense is lookin pretty good............

It's galling that the meathead was an OL coach yet he doesn't seem to grasp the simple concept that O-Lines need time to gel...nor does he seem able to pick the right players, given 4 offseasons and all his "expertise."

Yeah, 10 years later and here we are—in Wannstedtsville again. Population: us.

I go back to trade for who? Manning, Brady, Brees, Rivers, Romo, Roethlisberger, Rogers, Freeman, E. Manning, Flacco, Stafford, Bradford, Newton, etc...None of these players that have proven themselves or have been stamped as franchise QBs are on the market. And if they were Miami doesn't have the draft picks/players to package a deal for them. The only legit QB I could have seen trading for is Palmer, but Brown's stubbornness keeps him off the market.

At best, I think the coaching staff could be criticized for not giving talented players whom blew up on other teams a chance...Vick (perhaps afraid he would enter T.D. in a dolphin fighting ring) or V. Young. But this regime has held tight they are building via the draft. Perhaps they could have taken a chance on Favre over the past couple of years or McNabb, but their best days are behind them and doesn't the regime's philosophy of building through the draft.

Which elite QBs, specifically, do you think Miami has had the ammunition to trade for but hasn't?
