This is a thread I posted weekly last year. The reason was based on many posters complaining about an overabundance of negativity showing up on the forum. This was, and is, one of countless threads but, for Dolphin Good News Only. The intent was, and is, for posters to have somewhat of a safe haven to read and write about only the good about our team. Post only good stats, articles, and opinions on our team for this one thread, if you will. For example: Almost each and every Dolphan agrees that we had a good-VG draft. Without getting into the individual picks, this is Good News. I'm sure everyone gets the idea. Next?
Subtractions- Henning, Crowder, Thiggy, Ronnie, Rickey, and Moses. Additions- Daboll, Burnett, Moore, Thomas, Bush, JT, and McD. Advantage- this year's Phins.
This year's offense will be much more dynamic and varied. Chad Henne being booed could end up becoming good thing. I think it got under his skin enough to flip his switch so he really shows up this year. If Henne shows up, we have an amazing team. TWO good ILBs with range and pass coverage skills. What a treat that'll be. That also means Nolan can be less predictable, as EITHER one could drop into coverage or blitz.
No more Chad Henne orchestrated drives to see the wildcat go three and out in the red zone and settle for a FG without attempting a pass into the endzone. Chad will find some success in the endzone if he's not iced by his own coordinator in 2011.
Technically McDaniels is not an "addition" because he was one the team last year. Good news? GAME WEEK!!!
Looking forward to watching Daniel Thomas run the football. You get half of the production you got from Jabbar in his rookie season. Not bad. You get 26 TD's in the first two seasons. We''ll see. Also excited about Reggie Bush in space. Also Lex Hilliard Not being a 3rd down back. told ya' Boomer. LOL
knock on wood fast my man, i would have said this too, but since no one mentioned it yet i thought i won´t either to disturb any kind of karma
Odrick and Edds are in VG shape. Odrick is first team DT in our 4-3, in addition to DE rotation. Edds added 10 pounds of muscle in the off season, which may have had something to do with Dobbins release. He is expected to team with Dansby on pass plays.
Soliai showed up in great shape. He should be a more consistent "Manster" this year. Sean Smith came in with an attitude. He was very upset with himself after being beat by Marshall.
