But the goddamn cheerleaders will be out in full force! Even better last year when it rained, wet cheerleaders!
Going to be a great weekend for me, NFL tonight, Dolphins tomorrow night, BC on Saturday Night Glad I switched this: To root beer..I could never make it otherwise...
I quickly scanned this and thought the title to the thread was : AP: Dolphins head to Atlanta, Sparano wonders where they are
Expect: MORE OF THE SAME Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results I'm hoping for a good showing, but I think Smith has his teams light years ahead of Sparano. The Falcons will not be "Vanilla" on either side of the ball (my expectation).
Let’s evaluate shall we. They draft 5 offensive players and bring in a playmaker. When was the last time they did that? Just saying. I thought Sproles was a better option than Bush but not hands down. Bush is bigger, faster, stronger and if he makes it through the entire season, way more versatile. They replace a slow but likable IL with one of the best players on the best defense in the league last year. If Thomas, Clay and Gates make the 54, we will not recognize this team on opening day. Far from more of the same IMHO.
Come on Sparano... have a little confidence. Have this team prepared for once. I know you've got all the excuses in the world due to the lockout, but EVERY team is in the exact same position. So, its not really an excuse. Just have this team prepared. Is that too much to ask?
If you didn't use the term "vanilla," you couldn't describe the Offense you've put out there your entire tenure in Miami; They as ready as YOU made them, meathead.
That's funny. The WC was rated one of the top 10 innovations in NFL history according to a recent NFLN top 10 list and I'm not sure why anyone would give a #### about meaningless games as long as your key players are ready to go Week #1. Really. You guys are grasping at straws now and it's embarrassing.
When one decides they hate the coach, they'll go to any lengths to find something to criticize him about. Best thing to do is let it roll off your back.
Guys, it's preseason. It's a glorified scrimmage to assess the players the team has signed during the offseason. Of course it's going to be vanilla. Does anyone really think Daboll is going to tip his hand and show teams in a meaningless game plays/schemes he plans on using during the season? I just hope the players we've signed/drafted perform at the level we hope they will.
I’m not sold on the coach either, but when I read nonsense like that I feel obligated to reply. I’m not a micromanager, so I’m not concerned how he gets it done as long as he does. This is his put up or go home year for me. I have to admit that I'm a bit surprised he chose Henne to hitch his wagon to but after the Harbaugh fiasco I feel like it's his call.
Yeah, that's basically how I see it too. Not sure what the threshold is for Tony either though. Does he just need a winning season, or make the playoffs, or just break even to keep his job. I guess we'll know when we know.
